***Official Streaming Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other streaming sites thread***

Watching Happy on Netflix. What a twisted, weird, dark, and funny show. Just started e5 and it's getting stranger, but in a way that makes me curious about what's gonna happen next.

Watched the 8th episode of What If...? and the action was awesome! But unfortunately it had one flaw.
While Lake Bell and Alexandra Daniels did well in their roles, there's no substitute for James Spader...

I was really hyped thinking Spader had signed on. Some of the audience did not like him in Avengers: Age of Ultron but I loved it.

Jeffrey Wright's smoothly calm delivery has been fantastic. His narration has added a real Rod Sterling-like quality to the series. And watching (pun intending) Uatu kick butt was really fun.

Been watching Invincible on Prime. Pretty good animated series...not for kids.
Watched the final episode last night. The series is a solid mix of drama, dry sarcasm, and dark comedy. Writing and scene direction is excellent. Wish the artwork was better but it is very good.
It is an adaptation of a comic book title that I am not familiar with. Another thing I love is the lead into each episode incorporates the main character's superhero name by inserting the series logo at the exact moment another character is about to say his name but doesn't.

I have to rewatch it again, but one thing I take issue with is the segment that included Thanos and the gauntlet. It was dismissive and insulting. I understand that a writer wants to get a story to a certain point, but that wasn’t the way to do it.
Clearly they wanted to show how powerful Ultron had become. My problem with that scene was just that he seemed to know instinctively what the stones were, and how to use them. I'm also not convinced a being with no soul would be able to use the Soul Stone...but I don't know if there's anything in the canon to refute it. [spoiler/]

Limited series on Neftlix
Midnight Mass
Iffy on this one. Liked parts of it but found it slow and a bit silly at other times.
However I will say this. There is a woman on there that played her character well enough that you wanted to have someone slap the crap out of her lol.

No one gets out alive.
Not really that good.
However I will say I liked the Montster or Creature. It was so bizarre looking that it least it was kind of original compared to other's in the genre.

I'm 4 episodes in and you are correct. She needs a good *** kicking.

Is nor one gets out alive a separate movie or a continuation of the Midnight Mass critique?

No one gets alive is a completely independant movie. Midnight Mass is a limited series...I think 7 episodes at about an hour each.

Started watching the Korean series Squid Game on Netflix that is currently their #1 streamer.

About 3 episodes in and not that bad at all. My wife is not a fan of ultra-violent themes and I've even gotten her to watch it with me because most of it so far has centered around the character development of the main game players.

This is basically a Hunger Games remake. Hunger Games for people in debt. Will be interesting to see if there is a statement at the end on a world of debtors, rich vs poor, etc.

What I like about that as a sci-fi theme is we've already seen all the takes on AI gone bad, future in space, viruses, etc... but I don't think I've seen a sci-fi future film yet that addresses the issue of so many people and countries in so much debt.

Okay, that's a few of you that really like it. Guess I'll give it another try to see if I can deal with the subtitles.
