Took a break from watching the Bills dominate the Patriots to watch the third episode of The Book of Boba Fett. This episode wasn't as good as the last one, but it did set up future episodes.
@DallasEast can rest easy now since Fett's helmet wasn't harmed by Krrsantan's knuckles...

And it also looks like @DallasEast may get his wish of a Krrsantan and Fett team up after all...

It would potentially be their first team up on screen, but it would not be their first team up ever...

Although the chase scene was fun, I was most excited to see Boba Fett get his own Rancor...

Boba Fett may have ridden beasts 10x his size, Paar's Ichthyodont, but it was not live action...

Yeah, after rewatching all 3 episodes of Peacemaker I think it's my newest favorite show on TV. It curb stomps anything on Disney+ other than The Mandalorian. And it has the BEST. OPENING. EVER. Lol

Anyone catch the news that Netflix raised it's prices again? I can't believe they believe after delaying the next season of a number of their original shows they think they now deserve a raise.
They've done this before and the loss in subscribers is minimal to the gain they make. They are still rated as the #1 streamer in content and subscribers.

These streamers do their research into the budget and number of sources the majority of people will use and the last one I saw had 40 per month with 4 sources. And most Prime subscribers do not count Amazon as one because of the packaging.

The trick is to be one of the "must haves" and I think Netflix is still one of those.

Just a general reminder ..

Using the SPOILER tag is great for helping other members avoid learning spoilers about content you have seen that they have not yet seen.

However, making your entire post without some non-spoiler comments and/or context is not allowed because it forces members to have to view the spoiler to see if it is a spoiler for something they have or have not seen.

That includes only posting general/vague references.

The whole point of the SPOILER tags is to simply protect the specific parts that would otherwise "spoil" a movie or TV show for someone else if they have not seen it!

It is NOT a catch-all for hiding post content because at that point all you did was make it so everyone has to "click to read" on your posts.

Binge watched the first 3 seasons of Ozark this week to get ready for season 4 (Jan 21st).

Really love this show but man he should have let Del drop his wife off the top of the building with her lover. The only thing more annoying than her was her brother in season 3. She is power-hungry and thinks she is way smarter than she is, which is a dangerous combination given their situation. Based on the trailer looks like the son is going to be doing some cleaning in season 4, looking forward to seeing how it plays out since there will be a 5th season.

Anyone watch Peacemaker on HBO? Definitely NSFW or young kids. It is corny and surprisingly enjoyable.

John Cena is not bad at all in that straight guy funny role.

On the topic of Cena and streaming TV originals, if you haven’t seen the comedy Vacation Friends, you’re missing out.

Hulu does an underrated job on some good original gems. I enjoyed their other recent original comedy, Palm Springs too.

Got a couple of episodes of Cobra Kai left and this is my guilty pleasure. It is a contest between the acting and writing to see which can be the lamest. It looks like the kids in it wrote it.

I do not see how that poor guy that has to act opposite Ralph Macchio can keep a straight face in some of those scenes.

However, I enjoy the hell out of it so I got some lame in me as well.

It is hard for me to re-watch most TV shows or movies from the 1980s, and Cobra Kai has that same style of writing, acting and filming. For whatever reason though, it just works for that show.

Agree, as I watch it, I am a little critical but seem to be OK with it.

Exactly - I know its pretty lame, the writing is bad, the acting is bad (Ralph is bad, but the girl that plays his daughter is even worse) but i just enjoy the heck out of the show!

If you can understand thick Scottish accents and like crime drama try watching CRIME, it's very good.

I watched Episode 4 of the Book of Boba Fett - “The Gathering Storm”

Good news is that this was a MUCH better episode that last week's mess. And the Power Rangers were nowhere to be found (thank the Maker!). It closed a few threads while keeping others open and thankfully, we see that the Wookiee for hire (whose name I won't even try to spell) is still in the picture. I almost got a bit of a Godfather vibe from the meeting with the other 'families' to discuss the potentially upcoming war. It was nice to see the biker gang finally wrapped up. I still have trouble believing that such an inept group were able to wipe out the Tuskens in that off-screen slaughter. Maybe it was the Pyke syndicate and they simply wanted it to look like it was the bikers?

Anyway, some past questions were answered and we finally have closure on Boba Fett and the Sarlaac pit too. And other than another cringey droid chase, this episode was a much-needed improvement from the last, giving me hope that this series won't be a total trainwreck.

Wow and LOL at "that" Vigilante scene in Peacemaker haha. He's my favorite character on TV now. I haven't laughed this hard at a show in ages. Gettin' High With A Butterfly lol.
