my bad, I think the show is actually called The Glory.

I've been watching several Asian (mostly Korean) Netflix shows lately. Right now I'm watching It's Okay to Not Be Okay. Subtitles. There are a few storylines within the main story, and the show just gets deeper as it goes along. I like this one a lot

Finally finished The Walking Dead. That show, in it's entirety, was such a rollercoaster ride for me. It had some really great seasons, some OK seasons, and some real snoozers for seasons. I felt obligated to see it through though, so I did.

This last season was OK for me. After 11 seasons I felt like the ending was a bit anticlimactic and they really failed to give the show any closure. I'm sure this was done on purpose, for any spin-offs, but I would have liked to see some better closure. Also, much like the show Lost, the ending left me with more questions than answers.

Overall though, I thought it was a great show and I enjoyed it. I loved some of the character development through the show. There is one character I couldn't stand through some seasons, and by the end, he became one of my favorite characters. Also, I have to say that the zombie costumes/makeup/effects where absolutely top notch. It's amazing what they're doing with effects on tv these days.

I completely agree about the ups and downs of the series. I feel that behind the scenes greed and in-fighting really had a negative impact. Based on its beginnings, I thought they had the potential to do so much more. But ultimately they settled for ‘running around in the woods’. And ultimately that got old.

It also looked to me like they grew complacent and full of self praise while ratings and interest ranked.

Overall, a lot of wasted potential in my opinion.

Watched Wednesday. Jenna Ortega did a fantastic job in the role and loved the whole story. While I enjoyed Christina Ricci being part of the cast, sometimes I found myself comparing the two different Wednesday portrayals in my head, even though they are two different types of Wednesday.

Locke & Key season 3. The final season. Shorter than the previous. I enjoyed it, and they did a good job wrapping up the story. I would have preferred more seasons, but it's Netflix.

I gave the School for Good and Evil a chance a few days ago. I had read a few reviews when it was released on Netflix. None were good. So maybe my expectations were already set low. That said, I did not think it was nearly as bad as the reviews made it out to be. Likely won't go out of my way to watch it again.

While technically not a streaming show, I did watch it on Peacock so I will throw it in. They have the first two episodes of the new Night Court on there. The first episode was a little rough (kind of like the Santa Clauses show on Disney+), but it did seem a little more smooth in episode 2. It's not the Night Court of my youth, that is for sure. I will try and keep up as the episodes are released. And India de Beaufort is part of the cast (had to look her name up as I couldn't remember it). I guess she's continued to act but the last time I remember seeing her in a show was Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire like 14 years ago.

I watched Korean series crash landing into you. My wife and I loved it. Any show that has you laughing at the same time you want to cry is pretty good. First couple of episodes were kind of cheesy but after that it was really good and captured you.

I'm watching Lawless Lawyer right now. Only halfway through the first episode. I'll have to check yours out after.

Watched Tales of the Jedi animated series last night on Disney+. I liked it though I thought it would be more of an anthology series.

While I have not watched but a handful of the Clone Wars series, this seemed, from my perspective, more like a series to fill in some backstory pre and post-Clone Wars. And a lead into the upcoming Ahsoka series.

At least that was my take.

Also have been watching the Disney+ series National Treasure: Edge of History. It's okay for what it is. I do not feel like I am wasting my time watching it. A couple of cameos from movie characters help tie it into the same universe. It feels like the bones are there to have been a National Treasure 3 movie instead. And maybe it was initially planned that way before shifting it to a series with a new cast. I don't know.

There are some obvious parallels with Obi-Wan Kenobi but I really enjoyed the season one finale. The finale was akin to that particular Dooku episode in that involved choice but different in that Ahsoka's decision was not subtly manipulated like Dooku's.

Amazing show, and yes, while very pleasing to look at, Winnick is also very believable as Lagertha.

For any of you that enjoy documentaries, I watched 'Pepsi, Where's My Jet" on Netflix. It was a good watch. It was about Pepsi releasing a commercial in the 90s that said you could buy a Harrier jet with 7,000,000 Pepsi points. Well, some kid got that and submitted those for the jet. Turned into a legal battle. I vaguely remember it being in the news back then. Anyway, I enjoyed it.
