***Official Streaming Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other streaming sites thread***

If you haven't watched the Chinese series called Kingdom on Netflix you are missing out. Great political intrigue show that also has Zombies.
Then there is a Chinese movie that is very similar called Rampant that is also very good.
 
Looking forward to GLOW. Marc Maron is pretty funny.

Side note to the plot in season 2.
Saw where the Atlanta cold case unit reopened the case just this year.
 
This show isn’t on one of the above, but it is on HBO.....The Righteous Gemstones. It was pretty darn good and is about a dysfunctional evangelical family.

Recording it and will watch like I usually do when I get 3 or 4 saved but it looks good with Goodman and I like Adam Devine.

Also on HBO and this show is pushing the envelope off the edge of the table, Euphoria. I don't know if I like it after 3 episode but I am hooked on seeing just what they will not show. The last one I watched actually made me uncomfortable showing things for too long on the screen of things I don't want to look at in the first place.

And Runny, for far too long. I get the reason for glimpses of male anatomy and full frontals but I have never seen anything like this outside of accidentally seeing a porn when looking for recipes online like Asian Delights. And are men actually necessary in these films? They're gross.

Have you noticed that, even on regular TV these days, they'll show guys' naked butts, but not women's? That one I don't understand.

Unless a show is testosterone driven, the audiences are more female. I remember the first show to do that, NYPD Blue with David Caruso and it caused quite a stir but then they added the female derriere as well. When they got around to showing Sipowicz's butt, I was "alright now, we need to have a meeting about this, love this show but stop it, Just Stop It!".
 
HBO - Euphoria

If anyone else has watched this, please explain the point. I watched the entire run and still don't know why. If they're going to make this about teenage drug addiction and sexuality, have at least one sympathetic character. If aliens were to watch this and deciding our fate, we'd all be ash by now.
 
Signed up for an Hulu subscription and binged The Looming Tower, its very good. Hoping for a season 2

Decided to give The Handmaids Tale a shot and they've done such a great job depicting a repressed dystopian Soceity, its ironically too depressing to continue watching. I bailed after episode 6 of season 1. It just feels like its always going to be depressing and hopeless.

Anyone else give up on or have a similar reaction to Handmaid?

I've never heard of it, but I can't watch depressing stuff like that.
 
Anyone watch Van Helsing, on Netflix? The concept is excellent, but some of the writing is really bad, and some of the acting...especially the vampires...is absolutely horrible. That said, I'm kind of addicted.
