Miniseries but only 3 episodes with each being around an hour.
Interesting Premise but I think they should have added few more episodes to make it better.
Not sure whey they just made three episodes instead of making it a movie.

Anyone watch Beast Games? 1,000 people and only one wins 5 mil. A lot of controversy but it's wild. No wonder Mr Beast has got sued.

It’s pretty wild. That platform looks daunting. I mean, what if you fall off your square? Do you fall ten stories to the ground? It has to be some sort of illusion and not really that high up.

Has anyone watched "Black Doves"? It is a series on netfllix. I watched the first episode. Its a spy thriller I guess, although in the first episode there are some basic spy craft things that indicate it might be stupid. For example, a sniper shoots some guy in a park in London. A spy figures out where the shot came from and goes to a balcony where he finds a shell casing presumably from a high powered sniper rifle. Imagine a guy sitting on an open balcony waiting for his target to come into sight so he could fire a shot, then leave his brass with finger prints on it for anyone to find.

I am wondering if this is not what really happened but I have to watch more to find out.
Okay, I finished watching this - I don't know why - but by the last episode, I think this series is supposed to be a light comedy thriller? Or something. The second episode dealt with the idiocy of the first episode but still seemed stupid.

The end was stupid. But there were times when I thought this show had promise. I would advise those who like these spy thrillers to skip this one. It is only 6 episodes, but almost 6 hours of your times will be saved.

Dexter, Original Sin(Paramount +) is starting off good. Slater and Dempsey are always good in whatever they do. There is another Dexter series coming this Summer with the original Dexter Morgan.

I watched the final episode of Dune: Prophecy. I thought the show was boring at first, but got better. The last episode was actually pretty good, I thought. In some ways I think they saved too much for the finale but I won't complain about that too much.

A lot of these shows seem to be almost knockoffs of Game of Thrones, IMO. I don't blame HBO for trying to replicate that success. This show has a little of that vibe to it, but it is not too bad. HBO has confirmed there will be a season 2 and I will look forward to it.

I won't say Dune: Prophecy is a great show, but it is good enough for a second season. I was not crazy about Travis Fimmel's performance, he played Ragnar in Vikings, I thought he maybe overacted a bit. But it looks like he will be a key character going forward so we'll see if he smooths out his performance in season 2 or hams it up even more. Overall, I thought the acting was decent enough.

Started watching Creature Commandos on HBO Max. This is taken from the DC universe (from Wiki):

Creature Commandos is an American adult animated superhero television series based on DC Comics's eponymous team. Produced by DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation, it is the first television series and first installment in the DC Universe (DCU). It focuses on a black ops team of monsters assembled by Amanda Waller. All seven episodes were written by series creator James Gunn, with Dean Lorey as showrunner and Yves "Balak" Bigerel as supervising director.

I highly recommend it if you’re into Invincible gore mixed with irreverent humor.

Interesting spy thriller
In several places you have to suspend reality a little but decent enough and holds your interest

Loved Dexter, so I am definitely in on this series. I'm just trying to be patient before diving in so I can binge through it.

Saw the Netflix Roast to 2024.

Best line of the show: "Aaron Rodgers is the worst jet to hit New York since 9/11"

Canary Black on Prime

I give it a 5/10 but add two for Kate Beckinsale…..7/10

It’s your typical spy movie, decent enough on a bored night.

Yes, there were some really dumb scenes, and at the end I thought, "maybe this is a comedy?"

Season 3 of WHAT IF...?

The first two episodes had me thinking it was going to be pretty bad, but it got better every episode, leading to an epic finale.
