***Official Streaming Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other streaming sites thread***

I am watching the most recent season of Tulsa King. I liked the 1st two seasons ok but this one is just way over the top. Stallone just overacts the bad guy in this season and so many of the scenes are best described as cheesy. I know Stallone is about 80 years old but he almost looks like he has had stroke. The story would be good but it seems like the last year of Yellowstone where everything is rushed. Sheridan must have wrote this season in about an hour. Very disappointing. There is no way they can bring this back next season
I think it’s great.

Binged watch Last Samurai Standing on netflix

I liked it but it is only 6 episodes

Now it says it is only chapter one but I have yet to find anything that says there will be a season two at this time.

I started watching The Witcher on Netflix. I am only 1 Episode in but I have to say, the transition from Henry Cavill to Liam Hemsworth seems pretty seamless to me. The first episode was annoying at times but I think that was mostly to blend Hemsworth into the character. There is definitely some cheesy acting at times and maybe too many characters to deal with, but it is pretty much the same as before.

Just wrapped up Twisted Metal season 2 on Peacock. Yeah, it’s definitely a little cheesy and over the top, but I still enjoyed it. It’s entertaining, and I’m probably a bit biased since I played the game on the original PlayStation back in the day.

Also, whoever’s in charge of the music deserves props......lots of great ’90s tracks sprinkled throughout all of the episodes.

Yeah it is an enjoyable watch.
They know it is campy and cheesy and they go with it.

I dug Season 1. And yes, that was probably my favorite Playstation 1 game back in the day, which is what made me watch it to begin with, but I still enjoy what they've done with the series. Anthony Mackie is more compelling as a character in this than any Marvel movie. And Sweettooth is hilarious! I got a free trial of Peacock JUST to watch this Season 2 and never got around to watching it while I had it damnit!

I'm still trying to finish Aliens on Hulu. LOL. Up to episode 7 or 8. Just finished that one that showed everything that happened on the ship with the cyborg and crew. Loved that episode because it was very much homage to the first Alien movie, which I've always thought was underrated. Yes, the James Cameron Space Marines flick was fantastic, but I still enjoy that eerie space horror theme that no sequel ever really matched again.

And now I realize I have to get Netflix again because of that Last Samurai show Brainpaint mentions. That snuck up. 100% reviews for that and I am a huge fan of any Japanese history. You can't go wrong with a Samurai Battle Royale!

It: Welcome to Derry is either becoming boring or it has lost my interest after Halloween. I am not sure which it is yet…..

"I watched "All Her Fault" on Peacock for some reason. I will blame it on my wife. It is a 8 episode series staring Sarah Snook of "Succession" fame. What an awful and stupid show. Imagine a cheap, poorly written, Lifetime movies turned into a 8 hour miniseries. That's basically what this is. Recycled cliche is what this is. Just awful. Why Peacock hyped this show up is puzzling because it is an embarrassment to the network which carries plenty of other embarrassing content.

Dang, I totally disagree about the CGI. I think it's been pretty great. I don't know, maybe it's because I grew up on cheesy 80s/90s special effects, but I think what they're doing today with cinema is incredible. As far as the flying baby, yeah it was goofy, but that’s literally IT’s whole vibe. Pennywise always does bizarre, unsettling, borderline-absurd stuff to mess with people’s heads. He feeds off fear, so the weirdness is part of the buildup.

I get that it has been a bit of a slow burn, but it's just building up the story. I enjoyed last night's episode of Pennywise's origin, the reason he is bound to Derry, and why/what the military might be interested in doing now.

I find continuing horror and/or suspense TV series to be hard to swallow. There was that other one too on HBO with the HP Lovecraft stories. Seems like they just do better as short stories, or movies in this case, and the ones I remember watching beyond the first season are the ones that have different stories each episode or season.

It is ok. Still finding it's legs IMO.

I find it better than the Talamasca ann rice series.

New Episode of Landman started. Glad there seemed to be a quick turn around for that one. Although I think that series would be better served without the daughter. I hope when she goes to TCU they will greatly reduce her role. At this point she only served to get the parents back together. There is no need for two highly irritating characters bringing more burden on him....His wife is enough for that. But they will keep her on for the younger crowd.

Yes, definitely going to take time for this one.
The History Channel came out with a really great series in the late 2000's. Interesting and informative, but a bit generic. I watched that shortly after watching Ken Burns Civil War for the first time and hoped that he would tackle the subject. Since then I think his Vietnam series actually raised the bar high. A true masterpiece
