***Official Streaming Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other streaming sites thread***

My daughter texted me last night and told me to check out a documentary on Netflix called Unknown Number. It wasn’t really on my radar, but I figured I’d watch it to be supportive, so my wife and I put it on. Wow! It was much better than I expected, and the ending has quite the "twist".

If you’re into documentaries, I definitely recommend it.
It is enough to ruin your faith in humanity. Truly crazy.

Disappointed in the finale with Alien. Went downhill fast after episode 5. They should've just called the show Super Corporations with androids and idiot obnoxious humans and a few "aliens" on Earth.

The whole season could have been better. I am indifferent if the series is cancelled.
I agree. What a disappointing finale. And it came out of nowhere. I had other storylines in mind, like the crawling eye is actually a good guy and will take down the aliens somehow maybe in exchange for it's freedom and a ride back to its home planet?

Here we have some of the synths acting like little children, but now they want to take over the world? Is that the vision of little kids? It went from a Jurassic Park plot to Lord of the Flies? I fast forwarded through hours of commercials over 8 weeks for this crap? What a disappointment.

And what's with the Aliens teeth? Those teeth are not the teeth of a super predator. They are more human like and not suited for ripping and tearing raw flesh. Why did they give the alien a set of human choppers?

I assumed it would going to be a cliffhanger ending, setting up a season 2. Maybe in 3 years, if it is not cancelled, they will have a potential exciting storyline about the battle between the synths and the corporate troops for control of the island but that seems like a limited storyline to me. With the Alien creature finishing off dozens of soldier already without getting a scratch, I don't seen how the battle for the island with 2 aliens and a gaggle of synchs is going to be a very long battle.

Dexter: Resurrection: Finally got around to watching this season, and I really enjoyed it! It was great seeing some of the original cast members return, and I thought the new characters were cast really well. The season was very entertaining, though a bit predictable at times, but still a lot of fun overall. Looking forward to the next season (and from what I’ve read, it sounds like there most likely will be one).

Top Gun: The Next Generation

A new series on Nat Geo about students learning combat maneuvers and such. If you like that stuff, it is really good.

Alien Earth.

I don't know why anyone's complaining about the last episode. I friggin' loved it! It was an unexpected flip, and I'm happy if they have a season 2, or if they don't.

My one complaint is, I wish they'd skipped the beach scene with the xenomorph, because it was so obviously a person in a costume, which was unnecessary for a 10 second scene.

Too lazy to go back and look.
But earlier in this thread someone brought up Slow Horses

Watched the first season and have enjoyed it. Just wish each season had more episodes.

But I have always been a Gary Oldman fan.

We'll have to see where it goes if there is a next season, but I think a lot of fans were expecting a showdown between the synths and the aliens.

I could see several better story lines than the one they took. As I said, the synths have the minds of children. Children do not contemplate taking over the world from humans. They long for their parents. So escaping the island would be a reasonable story line, but world conquest just seems like a stretch.

I still think there is an opportunity for the crawling eye to be a "good guy" in this. In the next season we will hear from it since it now controls a human body with presumably the ability to speak. I am ignoring the fact the body is dead.

I am also skeptical of the relationship between "Wendy" and the xenomorphs. So far the hierarchy is holding but I wonder if eventually the xenomorphs will view the synths the same way the synths view humans? Maybe that is the twist for next season. Even though it has not been announced officially, I am pretty sure it will be renewed

Kind of an odd one. Direction, acting and budget were all good.
Appears to be a one season thing but maybe I am wrong.
Reminds me a little of the second season of true detectives.
Where the two main characters were bad people. Both have a bit of a good side but their pasts kind of just making them scumbags.
Really is kind of a depressing show but it keeps you interested.

Only a couple episodes up so gotta wait for the new ones.
English show. Guy that played Rick on TWD and the Woman who played Ellaria Sand. Guy starts having panic attacks and PTSD. He decides to move his family from London to Scotland hoping a smaller town kind of rural area will help. However the next door neighbors are a little off and the main character gets himself into new bit of trouble. Like I said only two episodes but it is enough to want to see more.

I like Black Rabbit
Netflix
Great cast
Quirky story but quite enjoyable
The ending dragged a little
7.5/10

Finished Star Trek Strange New world season 3

I like the crew. Some of the stories are good.

But this one just does not tie together as well as the Star Trek Discovery series IMO.

Would rather seem them do another Star Trek that starts about 50 years after the Discovery future timeline finished.
Some of the episodes are really good, I thought the episode where all of the characters Sing was totally off the wall…What the hell were they thinking?!

Wayward on Netflix, only 8 episodes but has been such a hit that they may do a season 2, was initially designed to end after season 1. Main male character was actually born female in real life, I thought he looked kinda feminine. Anyway, pretty good after 6 episodes and has some good music throughout. Main female character is pretty gifted too

Mae Martin did well on the english game show Taskmaster.
Not sure if anyone ever watches that show but I really like them, always makes me laugh.

That was a strange series. It was good, production and acting was good as well. But I think it needed tweaked a little here and there.

I liked the series. Did not care for the finale. Series seemed like it was goig to be a one season Miniseries but the ending seemed like another season. Not sure if it is planned or they left it open just in case.

Been looking forward to this one.
Parts of this series I really liked, other parts not so much.

I think they could have actually made it a tad shorter and take out some parts

The did cover all of the movies that were inspired from him...Psycho, Texas chainsaw massacre, Silence of the lambs. But they spend time going over how people came up with the movies and some of the actors issues like Anthony Perkins and his issues. Some of this dragged on. Some spots in the show just seemed discombobulated.

Still an enjoyable watch. Charlie Hunnam does a good job. At times it is hard to hear what Ed is saying. Hunnam uses a lower mild voice for him. I would have to turn the volume up loud to hear him only for something else pop up with the sound blaring. Thinking back now I should have just put the CC on. Oh well.

Slow Horses
Prime, 3-4 seasons
8/10
Very enjoyable “spy” serial
Great cast and acting
