***Official Streaming Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other streaming sites thread***

Wayward on Netflix, only 8 episodes but has been such a hit that they may do a season 2, was initially designed to end after season 1. Main male character was actually born female in real life, I thought he looked kinda feminine. Anyway, pretty good after 6 episodes and has some good music throughout. Main female character is pretty gifted too

I couldn't get through the first episode.

Slow Horses
Prime, 3-4 seasons
8/10
Very enjoyable “spy” serial
Great cast and acting
Agreed.
They are on season 5 now but going to wait until all episodes are up so I can binge it.
Just wish they did more than 6 episodes a season.

I got around to finishing Peacemaker Season 2. I find the series overall very entertaining. But season 2 left me a little unsatisfied. The last episode in particular was just an hour or so of fluff. Some scenes were clearly just filling time to get to the cliffhanger end. It's not that those scenes were unnecessary, they were just too long. You can feel it being dragged out. It's like they could only come up with about 20 minutes of story for the final episode and thought that wouldn't be enough. Fans would be angry and they had to give them more. So they threw in 30 minutes of background story and flashbacks to fill the full time slot.

As I said, the final episode sets up a new season I guess. But there is no plan for a Season 3. James Gunn has said he is focused on other DCU projects. Peacemaker is an important character in the DCU overall story but he has no plans for a season 3 of Peacemaker. I don't know that I am that interested in the HawkGirl and the rest of the DCU nonsense which will be used to resolve the ending of season 2 of Peacemaker. .

Season 1 of Peacemaker was entertaining and kind of ended in some ways. Season 2 leaves fans hanging and will probably never be resolved for most of them. I wish I knew sooner, I may have skipped season 2.

Finally wrapped up Monster: The Ed Gein Story last night. It was alright. It felt like it jumped around a bit, especially with the Hitchcock, Psycho, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre scenes. I was able to follow along, but my wife kept getting lost, and I had to explain several things to her. The last couple of episodes were just weird, and by then I was ready for it to wrap up. Honestly, it probably could’ve been six episodes.

That said, Charlie Hunnam did a great job in the role. I also feel like they took a lot of artistic liberties with the story. While it’s undeniably disturbing, the on-screen portrayal was just okay overall. I definitely enjoyed the first one Monster season (Dahmer) more.

Makes me wonder if the next season will focus on Ted Bundy, since they teased that idea when he was asked to help solve the case, which, of course, didn’t actually happen in real life.

Here's something unique. My wife loves murder mysteries so she's been watching this free Amazon channel that airs BBC Midsomer Murders 24/7. I guess it was the murder series that was big in UK during 90's. It's actually a pretty good watch, much more mature content than say Angela Lansbury's show which I guess would be the US equivalent during that time? Some crazy plots in that series, hard to figure out who did what. And surprisingly doesn't feel that outdated.

It's a series.
Oh good! I thought it seemed like too much for a single movie, but something made me think it was. I'll have to watch it again, and try to figure out why I thought that...Maybe because the production quality looks too good for a series?

I liked season 1. But I never watched season 2. Was it any good or the same old strong independent woman swims upstream to prove all her superiors are wrong and only she knows what is right? That stuff gets tired as quickly as the angsty teenage daughter got tired.

Handy tip for you in the future.

Do not watch any series where the woman is the main character in a position of power.

You are welcome.

That was one sick dude. I watched the first episode and that was enough for me.

You did not see the real sick stuff lol

He is one of the only "serial" killers that was actually found insane and spent the rest of his life in a mental institution instead of prison.

After the first episode I googled his story and knew that was going to be it for me.

LOL. I try not to, but it is getting more difficult on Netflix. But I do think there are certain "types" of lead characters we see repeatedly, male and female.
