Official Tashard Choice Thread **MERGED**

He got caught on camera and now there's an excuse. I don't even care if what he's saying true (doubtful, but maybe it is), it's still not the time or the place. I doubt he even realizes it. After just losing on national TV, why would this even pop in your head? I'll tell you why. It's because he already had plans to try to get the autograph.

Right, he would have gotten it if the Cowboys won or if the Cowboys loss. So what?

He was getting something for his 3 year old nephew.

I have trouble imagining a 3 year old has a clue who Michael Vick is, much less anything else about football. Last he was a 'star' before the past few months was in 2006 before the kid was born.

Sounds kinda fishy to me.

Can't you feel miserable about losing and be respectful to another player, including praying with them after the game and seeking their autograph?

Humans have the ability to compartmentalize their emotions and smile in the face of defeat and continue on with their lives.

Furthermore, I find it interesting you're more interested in what people say about you, calling you a loser. So if you shake the opponent's hand, that means you're a loser?

And what if you lose? You're already a loser. How does shaking the opponent's hand make you less of a loser than you already are?

Here's a thought. How about actually reading the posts. No one has said you shouldn't shake hands and congratulate the opposition. If fact, I have posted as much. That's a lot different than seeking a player's autograph DIRECTLY following a game, whether it's a loss or a win, but especially after a loss. I just don't see how it even popped in head that quickly.

Something tells me you would change your mind about smacking me if you were sitting next to me.

I got $50 on the Choice is a bonehead brigade in this fight, and I'll give 3-1. Takers?

You're thinking too much into it man. :D

Is that the same nephew that Babe Ruth promised to hit a home run for?

Actually, I think it's the little kid in the hospital that Kramer promised two home runs from a Yankee player (forget which one) in exchange for a team photo. LOL

I dont care what excuses Choice comes up with or what his agent tells him to tweet, it was just sickening watching Choice chase after dog killer Vick like he was chasing after Miley Cyrus.

And for everybody that says "it happens all the time", please give me an example from this season of a player getting an autograph from the oppossing QB at the 50 yard line 30 seconds after the game.

If it "happens all the time", it should be very easy to name another player that has done this.

Either way it's juvenile. Worse following a loss.

Praying with and shaking the hand of an opponent is TOTALLY different than asking for an autograph.

Shaking the hand is saying "hey, you got me this time." Asking for an autograph is saying "hey, you're way better than me and I don't ever expect to beat you."

And call me a jerk, but I don't care if it was for his 3 year old cousin. You can get that autograph literally whenever you want if you're in the NFL. Have you're ppl talk to his ppl. I just can't get over that.

Uh, excuse me. But are you Future?

I was responding to his post. And I DID read the post, Thank you.

It likely didn't just pop in his head. He likely thought about it before the game. I don't know how much difference that makes. It suggests that win or lose, Choice wanted Vick's autograph.

Yea, a three year old would have never seen Vick play before the past few months. I'm sure he has developed such a keen sense of football between his changes of Pull-Ups and learning his ABCs.

Wonder if Choice is stuffed in a locker at Texas Stadium right now?

Im not sure what other people have been saying about this on here but this was a slap in the face as a fan. I dont care that choice is from georgia or whatever, the way he went about this was awful.

He needs to check his jersey and remember how fans here feel about the eagles, especially after the eagles just put on a completely classless display.

He is going to pay a huge price for this PR wise.

:laugh2: yea I thought the same thing. The kid doesn't know diddly about Mike Vick.

This is the kind of thing that marks your rep - he'll never live it down.

Wow.

Is that what it means? I thought it meant you recognize the "star value" of a person and want something of note from that person. I never thought when a person signed an autograph that meant "you're way better than me and I don't ever expect to beat you."

I'm kind of sorry I asked Bill Cosby for his autograph. :(

It's kind of interesting how people not in the NFL can tell people in the NFL how easy things are.

You guys are funny.
