Again...players sign stuff after games all the time. They have about an hour after the game ends before the buses leave for the airport.

If they cared about winning they would be miserable right after they lose. Maybe i'm too serious, maybe I need to calm down, but it kills me to lose a game in a rec lacrosse league. The last thing I want to do is shake the other team's hands. It's nothing against them, some of them are great players. I don't care. I want to get the heck out of the gym before anybody can say "wow, that kid's a loser"

Can't you feel miserable about losing and be respectful to another player, including praying with them after the game and seeking their autograph?

Humans have the ability to compartmentalize their emotions and smile in the face of defeat and continue on with their lives.

Furthermore, I find it interesting you're more interested in what people say about you, calling you a loser. So if you shake the opponent's hand, that means you're a loser?

And what if you lose? You're already a loser. How does shaking the opponent's hand make you less of a loser than you already are?

It's funny, you're right about that observation. Everything other aspect in my life I've mellowed but the surge of anger I get from the Cowboys sometimes has never left me. I don't act on it anymore...but I feel the same.

I'm basing this largely off of my dad - a lifelong Cowboys fan - who hardly says anything during games anymore :laugh2: But I'll ask him and I bet he says it doesn't matter what happened after the game.

That's true too. I know nothing of TC's life he could have a younger brother, other family member that's a big Vick fan and wants a signed glove from Vick. Either way I don't really care.
