The fact that this thread has eclipsed anything regarding Newman's lack of intestinal fortitude all game long tells me all I need to know about misplaced hatred. ;)

Because that is pretty much imaginary from some folks who don't really like him in the first place.

I think everybody just needs to agree to disagree. I didn't care for it and I hope I never see that again. Others don't think it's a big deal. I've calmed down but I would never do that especially against a divisional rival.

Michael Vick signs Cowboys RB's glove
By Tim MacMahon
ESPNDallas.com

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys running back Tashard Choice accomplished one goal Sunday night: He got Michael Vick's autograph.

Choice approached Vick after the Eagles' 30-27 win at Cowboys Stadium and asked him to sign a glove. Philadelphia's MVP candidate granted the request.

"That's probably the first time that's ever happened to me," Vick said of an opposing player's request after a game. "But [Choice] is a great guy. It doesn't surprise me."

Choice, who rushed for 16 yards on seven carries and had a 17-yard reception in the loss, said he has known Vick for years. They became acquainted when Choice attended Georgia Tech and Vick played for the Atlanta Falcons.

The autograph, according to Choice, was for a young family member who is a big fan of Vick.

"My little nephew says he's his brother," Choice said. "My little nephew is 2 years old, so I had to get one for him. I just admire somebody who comes from those circumstances and comes back and proves everybody wrong. I've got nothing but respect for him."

As your comments tell us a lot about you.

Do you ever post anything original? It seems like you have 12,888 post full of arguments against the majority on any subject... Are you one of those internet message board arguers? Thats a serious question. I see you trying to argue with several people at the same time. Do you seek out emotional opinions from posters and take the opposing stance just so you have someone to argue with?

Do you realize everyone doesnt have to agree with you?
I person can have feelings or their opinion. What makes yours right and theirs wrong? If you are a lonely person that just finds some strange companionship by arguing with people on message boards then ok... Im curious.

What you cant read now?

Oh I can read fine, I was just asking for clairification because if you are talking about Police in the USA, you are full of it.

I have police officers in my family so anybody that says Cops kill civilians on purpose is full of it.

But hey, its a free country so keep thinking what you want.

I think "most" agree it wasn't the best move, but it certainly wasn't anything to get so upset over.

What's your reaction to Newman playing with no pride ALL game, or Garrett laughing it up like he and Reid were old friends at midfield?

Newman stunk it up like he has all year. No problem with Garrett. He's the coach and coaches always meet at the end of the game and speak. They pretty much have to. As I've posted several times, I don't have a problem at all when the players meet after the game, shake hands, congratulate each other, etc. That's sportsmanship and it should happen. Choice's move was much different. It's my opinion and I personally think it shows a lot of what's wrong with the team. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so. I also think it is, in some small way, telling about some of society's problems in this country. Way too much hero worship, especially the wrong heros. Do you think the CEO of Dell Computers would ask for an autograph from the CEO of IBM? I know it's apples and oranges, but there is a similarity. Choice needs to concentrate on his own career and his TEAM and not concern himself with the likes of Vick or any other player for that matter. Again, that's my thoughts about the situation. You're obviously free to believe otherwise.

Obviously Choice's 2 year old nephew (who seems to have lost a year) has a deep appreciation for guys who kill dogs but still manage to come back and be great QBs. Little guy has a great sense for social rehabilitation he does.

The man served his time. Get over it.

The boys in blue slaughter unarmed civilians like animals every year and get off. So what message are we sending here? Move on doggie, Vick isnt going anywhere

One of the absolute most stupid posts I've ever read on any forum. You should be proud. I'll bet your moral compass is a doozie.

What's so stupid about it? The fact that a dog's life has more value than certain human beings in this country?

So Choice's 2 year old says "Vick is my brother".

Seriously Choice, you think we are going to buy this???

Vick is the NFL MVP. Id ask for it too.

I think Brady has something to say about that. He is much better than Vick. Vick is a feel good story but is nowhere near as good as Brady. He does more with less than any other QB I've ever seen.

About Choice, I'm sure the autograph is not for him. Family member, friend, etc probably asked him to get it. I'm sure someone will bring this up to him and we will get the story. Even if he was a fan growing up, don't see why another pro athlete would want another pro athlete's autograph. See no point at all in that.
