Freeagent signings

Johnny Manziel QB - it is what it is, If he becomes available no matter what you feel or want, theres a 85% chance Jerry signs him. For cheap too.

Muhammad Wilkerson DT - Think this team will spend a nice chunk on pressure. Dallas has fast DEs undersized but fast. Pressure up the gut will hide alot of faults. Wilkerson will make Crawford better and form a very disruptive middle. This to me would be a no brainer.

Draft
Round 1
1. titans - Laremy Tunsil T Ole Miss
2. browns - Jared Goff QB Cal
3. chargers - trade with SF- Paxton Lynch QB Memphis
4. cowboys - trade with Ravens - Joey Bosa LB Ohio State Dallas gets RD1 and RD3
5. jaguars - Jalen Ramsey DB Florida State
6. cowboys - Myles Jack LB UCLA
Dallas coveted Anthony Barr a couple yrs ago, this time they get their guy. Same type of athlete but more polished and established as a LBer. Alot better cover skills. Fits perfectly in the middle of this defense. He'd add a element this defense doesnt have. Me personally i think he's going to be the best player from this draft.

Round 2
Jayron Kearse S Clemson
Big aggressive and can cover. Team him up with Jones and theres alot to look forward to.

Round 3
William Jackson III CB
Really good CB who you dont hear about too much. But this guy can move. Would be nice to work into packages and should develop into a starter.

Round 3(BAL)
Alex Collins RB Arkansas
Jerry loves his Razorbacks, and heres a RB who is what they need. Tough runner to get them yrds between the tackles.

Round 4
Jake Coker QB Alabama
Has all the tools to develop. played in big games and won. Also played in a pro style offense. Needs to develop but will have time on this team.

Round 4(COMP)
Luther Maddy DT Virginia Tech
Strong against the run but provides pressure up the gut. Good for the rotation behind Wilkerson

Round 6(OAK)
Cayleb Jones WR Arizona
An intriguing player. Ive read alot of this guy, had some trouble early in his time at Arizona but has since straightened up his act. Had a disappointing Jr yr but has everything you want in a guy to make plays. Would be a low risk high reward type player this low.

Round 6(COMP)
Jordan Walsh OG/C Iowa
Plays with excellent technique, but scouts say he would be a better center in the NFL. Could be that replacement for Bernadeau.

Round 6(COMP)
Glenn Grownkowski FB Kansas State
Does everything asked of a FB. Amd does it good.

Round 6(COMP)
Ron Thompson DE Syracuse
Very quick off the snap. needs to get stronger but he has skill. Could develop behind Gregory on the weakside. And plays Crawford on the strongside behind Lawrence.

QB: Romo, Manziel, Coker
RB: McFadden, Collins, Dunbar
FB: Gronkowski
WR: Dez, TW, Butler, Beasley, Lucky

Is Wilkerson a fit? Can he play the 1 next to Crawford consistently?

Kearse is way overrated to me...looks good in a uniform, but doesn't play aggressive to fit that size .Takes a lot of poor angles too.
Coker and Maddy I won't knit pick too much, but I like players at the same position a good bit more but that's just matter of personal opinion.

Everything else looks pretty good though. Jack, Jackson, Collins(i think he goes earlier tho), and Jones would all be really good picks

I love how you found a way for the Cowboys to draft Myles Jack.

QB goes 2nd, 49ers jump up and draft Lynch, Cowboys acquired Money Manziel. We get it man, you love Myles Jack,

Also, you lost me at re-signing Claiborne and Mincey. Double no thanks.

    http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/college/Clemson_logo.gif Jayron Kearse*, S, Clemson
    Height: 6-5. Weight: 220.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.67.
    Projected Round (2016): 2-3.
12/12/15: Kearse has started the season strongly with 52 tackles, six passes broken up and an interception. He's played well for Clemson, but wasn't all that impressive going against Florida State and running back Dalvin Cook. Sources say that Kearse could be a man coverage safety to go against pass receiving tight ends in the NFL.

8/17/15: Kearse notched 60 tackles with two interceptions and five passes broken up in 2014. He had a quality season and was a bigger presence than the numbers indicate. Kearse has nice size and length to help him match up against tight ends and big receivers. His stock could rise.

Interesting. You would draft a small fast linebacker instead of Buckner dt from Oregon and his 10 sacks or the ole Miss dlineman. He better be the next Ray Lewis.

Oh yeah you signed a 3-4 de. Muhammad. If we traded lower and grabbed a second this could work.

I don't see us letting church walk to then turn around and use a 2nd rd pick on a rookie replacement. He's a cheap serviceable option that keeps his nose clean and does his job.

Wilkerson is gonna make huge money. We just have TCraw a nice deal. I don't see Wilkerson leaving NYJ and I don't see us breaking the bank for him.
If you want a big NT in free agency why not go after Brandon Mebane. He'd be more realistic IMO.

I like Myles Jack, and I'd be stoked if he was a cowboy.

I like Jack, but I can't get behind anything that moves Sean Lee. His play this season was on another level. When healthy, he was not only one of the best linebackers, but one of the best defensive players in the league. I'd rather give Hitchens a shot in the middle and take someone in the middle rounds.

Jack is small? Myles jack was reportedly closer to 240 now.

Myles Jack play against the run, and his cover ability would leave Lee where he is. Jack has played all LBer spots at UCLA and played all 3 downs at LBer and even lined in the slot covering RBs WRs and TEs. Alot of people are blinded by his injury which was early. He's already preparing for the combine at the pheonix institute. After the combine people are going to be all over this guys jock.

Church is no longer serviceable. He's bad. cutting him saves 2.5mil. That will cover a big portion of the rookie salaries. He's gone.

Why do you people try to manage Jerrys money? Jerry has never been shy at spending when it made sense. Wilkerson is 25 yrs old. This makes too much sense in a spot that has been a weakness.

Jack should be almost healed by the combine maybe not 100% but close.

He can play all three LB spots like you mention.

i dont even like most of these picks. But i can see them happening. Because it fits a need and this is where most are projected. My mock would be different but i try to refrain from posting too many of my wants. The one i will say i would love is Jack. I personally think he's the top talent in this draft.

Is your mock purely what you covet or is it something you think is actually possible as well?

Because I don't believe us signing Wilkerson is realistic. I mentioned Mebane which i still believe is unlikely but more realistic for what we would do.

I'm not gonna argue with you on church because I don't mind losing him but I don't believe we will let him go. And I definitely don't believe we go strong safety with pick 2. I just don't see it shaking out that way.

I think CB is more likely at that point because we are hurting there much more than strong safety. And if you hate church that much you could always let him walk, move Wilcox to SS and keep Byron at FS. Heath as backup and draft a SS later to push Wilcox.

This isnt specfically my mock. Its what i think can happen on need. I listen to alot of cowboys feeds and read alot. I just take what i read and hear and try to form thoughts on what can happen. When i post what i want to happen i post with the word MY in front of it. I know alot of people dont do that. And alot of people think everything i post is what i want to happen.

I dont believe that this team CB is hurting this team more than SS for a second. It didnt matter who payed SS wether it was Wilcox or Church, the opposing team targeted that side of the field. Carr isnt as bad as most think , but it looks like it because teams are targeting his side. Why? Because his help is 95% of the time out of posistion. Dallas plays 75-80% zone and Carr gives up some but them inside slants or them deep fades, there is supposed to be a LBer or S there to help. If you go back there is nobody there or they are late most of the time. SS is by far IMO the weakest posistion on this team.
