LOL, we are all guessing.

No one makes more ridiculous guesses than you. It's almost like you're on an unstoppable mission to be wrong. lol Sometimes I think you just post stuff like this just to get a few laughs. I find it pretty hard to believe you believe some of the things you post.

Dak won't even be starting next season. Romo will get his job back and Dak will be riding the pine.

I've never asked you to believe anything I've posted, it's okay if you don't and it's okay if I turn out to be wrong. I take guesses... so what. You act like it's a crime.

You're going to end up dead wrong as always. Lucky for you being wrong isn't a crime or you would be doing life without the possibility of parole.

I'm okay with being wrong, it was just a guess. You acting like it has a life or death consequences, is ridiculous.

All the Romo FANS who are reading into Jerry's comments that Romo is coming back or could be back or are hoping he'll be back are going to be very disappointed. Romo will not be with the Cowboys next season and you can BOOK IT!
Your damn right we will be disappointed and we should be if he is gone. All Cowboy fans should be.

Him being gone is best for him and the team. He wants to start and he'll get a chance to do just that somewhere else. He doesn't want to waste what's little left in his career being a backup. We may be able to get a draft pick for him or Improve our cap situation by being able to spread $19.6M over the next two seasons.

What could have been best for the team would have been putting him back on the field. They could have beaten the Packers and have both Tony and Dak back for this season.

It has nothing to do with my knowledge of the game, that's all facts and figures that are provable right or wrong.

The prognosticators of sports are often wrong and its not a big deal. All the time we see game predictions wrong, trade predictions wrong and no one cares. The folks that are right are cheered for a second and then its forgotten... because that's not a big deal either. Just the other day I was listening to a preview on TV of a Clippers/Spurs game. They were praising the return of a certain Clippers players and saying how that would pay big dividends to beating the visiting Spurs. But that's not what happen... the Spurs won and no ones credibility was hurt. These guys are paid for their knowledge of the game, but they are wrong all the time and no one apologies for being wrong or eats crow, so-to-speak. They just move on to the next event.

That would have been the worst thing for the team, he hadn't played all season. Once we got behind against the Packers due to our defense giving up 3 TD's on the Packers first 3 possessions Romo would have likely pressed like he did against Carolina and it would have led to a blowout loss. Anyone who thinks we would have beaten Green Bay with Romo is in denial about his career in games where we've fallen way behind. He starts pressing trying to do too much and it leads to a meltdown.

it looked to me like Romo looked very good when he came in for 1 series and led the team right down the field for a td. It looked like the Cowboys would have won that game if Romo stayed in. I suspect that they would have beat the Packers as well with Romo.

Your in denial if you think the team is better with Dak and anybody instead of Romo and Dak.

It was only one series in a meaningless game for both teams and we would have won that game with Dak or Romo. Dak played well against the Packers in the playoffs and was statistically better than Rodgers. Even down by 18 points he maintained his poise and was patient enabling us to come back and tie the game. Had our defense been able to make one more stop allowing the game to reach OT and we won the toss we would have won that game with a TD on our first possession. That game came down to who had the ball last. Romo has had a history of falling apart in games where we've fallen way behind and they lead to debacles.

You can believe what you want but Dak showed the ability all season of maintaining his poise in dire situations making the right throws at the right time. Go back to the first Philly game and how great he played bringing us back on our final drive in regulation and our game winning drive in OT. If we ever build a solid defense that can get after the QB we're going to go a long way with Dak.

The team is better with Dak at starting QB. Naturally if Romo was willing to take a big pay cut to be the backup and would be happy as the backup, that would be terrific. We would have the best one-two punch at starter and backup in the entire league but Romo doesn't want to be a backup. He doesn't have much time left and wants to play but some of you just don't seem to get that. He's making far too much money to be a backup and he doesn't want to be a backup. It wouldn't be good for him or the team to bring him back. Jerry wants to do what's best for the team and Romo.

If we can trade him for some value to a team he wants to play for that would be good for us and him. If we can't get a decent draft pick for him by releasing him we'll be able to spread $19.6M over 2 seasons instead of taking the full hit next season. That would give us cap relief and allow him to go off and pick a team that wants him. It's not fair to Romo to hold him hostage as backup when he can still start for someone and it's not fair to us to have to take on the financial ramifications of holding onto him at his current salary. This is why he won't be back with the Cowboys next season. It's not hard to figure all this out.

Why didn't Dak play well in the meaningless game? Dak made a mistake when he spiked the ball against the Packers. That is why Rodgers had time to win the game.

What are you talking about? That spike wasn't Dak's fault that was on the coaching staff and that was an extremely important game, not a meaningless game. Dak played very well against the Packers and it was our defense that cost us that game. It's clear you don't want Dak as the QB but many Cowboys fans are excited about the future with him. Some of you are stuck in a Romo rut, wanting to go back to where we've already been with him. Many Cowboy fans are ready to move on from him and see where Dak can take us. The Dak Prescott era has begun and many need to accept it or follow Romo to where ever he's playing next season. I've said it many times some are bigger FANS of Romo than the team.
