Miles (who Romo obviously has a big comfort zone with) was out, Dez was gimpy and limited, Robinson is still acclimating, and Tony was almost forced to trust KO to make his reads and adjustments. As much as us fans are sick of KO, the real question is how much trust has Romo lost in him? When Dez and Austin are back in and healthy and Robinson is more comfortable in the offense, I have a hard time seeing KO getting nearly as much faith from Romo anymore.
I forgive him more for the fumble and even the endzone drop than for the wrong routes and misreads on blitz adjustments. That kind of thing leads to pick sixes. I'm guessing that KO is out there instead of Harris because those reads/adjustments are the kind of thing they don't trust a rookie with yet. If KO can't reward the faith of his quarterback to pay attention and not make rookie mistakes, I wonder when they'll just see no point in continuing to put him out there. Myself, as a no-nothing fan, I'd rather see Harris out there making his mistakes than see KO keep doing so. At least Harris will hopefully learn from his mistakes.
