Oh, calling Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones, where are those trades that you talked about, with the phones ringing off of the walls?

well no, but why let someone like walden and lattimore go, when they kept 11 offensive linemen and 11 defensive backs?

I still think a trade is in the works, but will be worked out Monday or Tuesday when NFL front office opens.

However, I was just saying that Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones were saying that the phone calls were ringing off of the walls, and even Stephen Jones said a trade would probably happen.

Sure, dont get the farm away you know, and dont wait around and let Chris Simms get away either, I sure dont want Bollinger on this team. I dont care what Brad Johnson says about Bollinger and they were buddies. The Cowboys have to be smart about this.

See, by Cowboys getting Bollinger, Brad Johnsons job is safe and secure, he wouldnt have to worry about Bollinger pushing him. Besides, I think it speaks for itself when Bollinger has been in the league for 6 years now and done nothing.

Go help them so we don't have to see more tear filled posts. There's a Kleenex shortage and I'm not sharing my toilet paper.

Do you know why the sky is falling? Because you are celebrating a hole in the roof!

It's you. They aren't answering the phones because the sky is falling through the roof.

We're not doomed, we're damned.

Step away from the Kool Aid my friend. I agree they need to pick up a WR. But don't panic. Everything will be fine.

well im just saying whats on my mind. Trying to fill some time, till in the morning. I wont be online for about a day to possibly 3 days or so. Due to the hurricaine.

I dont think it will hit here real bad in east texas, but you never know. So, when it will be storming, I wont be online.

Have there been any trades today?

Teams have been a little busy scanning the waiver wire for possible claims, speaking with veteran castoffs now free to sign anywhere and trying to organize their initial practice squads.

Trades, if there are any coming, can sit on the back burner for a day while all these issues are tended to.

I don't think anyone is saying we don't have areas we can improve upon. Or that some of our backups are less than stellar. However it comes to a point that when you look at our team in a whole there's really nothing to be in such a panic about.

What about Rudi in Cincinatti?

R. Colvin?

Chad Jackson?

Lance Schulters?

Ryan Moats?

And the many others who got cut instead of traded?

It isn't just the Cowboys who had players they had to cut instead of trading them to another team.

Many Lanch Schulters used to be good for the 49ers I wonder what happened I didn't even realize he was still in the NFL till I saw that he was cut. Man I hope we bring in Chad Jackson and R. Colvin.

well i believe like Parcells said, you always turn the bottom of the roster and you improve in that area.

If you can make a few trades, then so be it, but you always try to churn the bottom of the roster.

LIke a few years back, when Parcells had Jeff Ireland always looking, and they picked up Columbo, stashed him away for a year. Then they got Shanle the linebacker.

So, you always look and see if you can improve your team. You dont sit and stand pat on the bottom of the roster.

I agree with you, patience is needed, so we just have to wait.
