sometimes the bottom of the roster can help you

example, shanle was picked up from the rams i think, and he sat on the roster for a year, then he was traded best i remember.

that pick turned into a 6th round pick or 7th that was used to draft a pretty good player that is playing for the cowboys now.

so the bottom of the roster does help

just like when the cowboys signed columbo and he sat on the roster for a year, healing up his bad knee injury.

so in those, both ways the bottom of the roster does help.

another example was way back in early 70's, the cowboys signed undrafted free agent drew pearson and the rest is history

Shanle could not make this team. So what good would it be to pick up another Shanle?

This is basically the same team as last year w/ more continuity.Keeping this team together is a great strategy.
There is always a window of oppurtunity. People believe the Mavs window has closed. The window is open for the boys if they take advantage now. The new stadium should help keep the window propped open for a while.

Click on someone's username. A menu will drop down on the left. Choose the top option "View User Profile." At the top you will see a blue banner with the Ignore function in the middle. Click it and some of this tripe goes away.

The difference is, he makes multiple threads like this. We all can live with a sketchy thread here or there, but not every damn day.

heck when you have 13 probowlers you have something right

and i dont preach doom and gloom all the time

i have posted lots of stuff on some positive stuff, then i get blasted for being for someone on the team

then i get blasted for saying some leadership is needed on the team

so either way, you cant please everybody all the time, no matter what you do

i believe, if you have something to contribute, just like when i notified you hostile about T O pumping his arms on a route, and ex head coach of the 49ers said, T O on film, on nfl network, you know better than that, dont telegraph the route

i even think that the cowboys might have 14 to 16 probowlers this year, if everything falls like i think it will

and it gets old too Hostile when you complain and complain about someones typing, or thoughts, that gets old too,

i have never complained like some people do towards some zoners that bunch their words together, or dont use punctuation

i even saw one person that has gotten on a few zoners about punctuation, writing skills, this person missed punctuation and spelling some words

we all are adults here, this is a free country and you should be allowed to write and type what you want, what you think,

sure dont get out of line and blast someone, or call them names or be nick picking at them, that in itself it pretty low

i feel, if a person, and i know a few that have helped the cowboys win ball games, then that person has a right for free speech just like anyone else

and there is a big total difference between stomach acid refux and spasmodic dysphonia, A HUGE DIFFERENCE! when you have your voice choking and cant talk, when your muscles tighten up and feell like the bones are breaking, then come talk to me Hostile, know what your talking about before you say just stomach and acid reflux

Joe, I think Jerry (and to some degree Stephen, from taking Dad's lead) is just so over-optimistic that you have to take what he says with a grain of salt. Like that this is the best coaching staff ever, or that this is one of the most important seasons in Cowboys history, or that Alonzo Coleman looks great and could get play time, or whatever.

Because we are a good team and we do have a lot of talent, I'm sure we did get some calls on people... But that doesn't mean they work out in actual trades.

Damn good post!!! Every time i hear the Jones boys they are over the top. Jerry has about 20 players on his list that are the 5 best he's ever had.

I do take them with a grain as should all Cowboys fans.

my problem and i have gone into this alilttle bit before.

i have spasmodic dysphonia, which causes my thoughts to ramble, along with tightening my voice box and i have spasms in my hands, head and legs,

which causes me sometimes not to put my words together completely

but i am a die hard dallas cowboys fan
