It'll be a good game if Ohio can't stop the run like this weekend then Texas has a chance but as much as I hate it I don't see Texas playing as well as they did this past weekend. So my pick is Ohio State

Ohio State lost for two reasons last year: Vince Young and not getting Ted Ginn the ball

Young is gone and the OSU coaching staff wont make the same mistake twice.

OSU: 28
tu: 24

No Hawk, Carpenter, or Schlegal this time. Vince is gone but the cupboard is far from being bare. There is still a lot of talented players on offense in Austin.

Even as young an inexperianced as they are, the defensive speed on tOSU will dance circles around Colt .45

Texas at home will take over the #1 ranking once again as they dispose of OSU. Texas may not have young but they still have one of the best defenses in the nation and running game that is going to cause a lot of problems for an inexperienced OSU defense

Agreed! I need some payback!:D

You may need to get it else where because OSU is going to be leaving Texas without a victory. :D

The exp at QB will be the difference IMO.

OSU pulls out the win.

No matter who wins, just like last year, this should be a very good game.

If Texas wins, you can pencil in the MNC game already.

There's a good chance that someone on Ohio State's schedule can knock them off but Texas has Cupcake State, University of Cupcake and Cupcake A&M's the rest of the year.

I am so looking forward to this game. It's easily one of the most anticipated games of the year. Both teams looked dominant on offense last week but without Vince Young I don't think Texas wins. Young has been the UT savior the last few years. Without him they wouldve lost to Michigan in the Rose Bowl, without him they woudve lost to Ohio State last year and USC in the National Championship. I still think it will be close and Texas still has a chance to win but Ohio States superior offense pulls it out.

Ohio State - 28
Texas - 24

Man, it's hard for a Michigan fan to give Ohio State that much props - I think I'll go puke now.:p:

The Ohio State D is in trouble if they play like they did last week.

I still don't think Ginn will do much, just like last year. He is afraid of contact and quits when he is hit-same as last year- and is shut down by teams with an actual D. The Ohio State coaches did not make a mistake last year because Ginn was blanketed. They tried to get the ball to him 7 times in the first half with no success.

Troy Smith and their running game is what scares me. But if Texas can limit turnovers and kill Ohio State with the running game then.

Texas 31
Ohio State 17

If Ginn finally has a big game against a good D and Texas makes mistakes

Ohio State 35
Texas 21

Oh and the AP is out today

Ohio State #1
Texas #2

Notre Shame actually fell 2 spots...I am in shock.

I wouldn't pencil in the BCS game just yet. Trips to Nebraska and Lubbock should not be taken lightly. Those are exactly the kinds of games that can sneak up on a team. Nebraska is trying to gain respectability back and will gladly welcome the challenge of a top ranked team coming to town. Tech always get riled up to face UT and A&M. They get that ugly step child syndrome.

Texas easily has more talent than either team, but unless they take those games seriously, they can lose. It is easy to get up for OSU coming to town or facing your major rivals in OU and A&M. The tough part is getting mentally ready in the remaining games. It is hard to do every week. That is where the upsets occur or at least the tougher than expected victories. UT seems to do it every year. Witness Oklahoma St. the last few seasons and Kansas a couple of years ago.

Their chances go up for playing for the national championship if they beat Ohio St., but it still a long season. Anything is possible.

I heard that one of UTs best CBs was suspended for the game.

Can't be a good thing when going against Ohio State.

Yep, Tarell Brown starting CB has been suspended. He MAY have been covering Ginn, but I think Ross can be more than adequate at that job. I kind of thought that UT would win comfortably before that news though. I still think UT wins, but it will be close...

UT - 27
OSU - 24
