Yep, Tarell Brown starting CB has been suspended. He MAY have been covering Ginn, but I think Ross can be more than adequate at that job. I kind of thought that UT would win comfortably before that news though. I still think UT wins, but it will be close...

UT - 27
OSU - 24
I don't think Ohio ST. is going to return evry kick back to the 50 yard line this year. That was the worst kick coverage I've ever seen in last year's game and wait till the heat and humidity slaps the Buckeyes in the face.

Seeing as the heat and humidity in this part of the country has been the worst I have seen it in YEARS...I doubt that makes too much difference.

Oh and I have lived in Texas, Louisiana and Florida so I do know what heat and humidity is like in other places.

This summer, and up until the last few weeks, has been just as bad or worse as the summers I have spent in Texas, Louisiana and Florida.

It has been off the charts this summer here.

Actually when I lived in Texas the humidity was mild compared to other places.

The Buckeyes started many of their drives in good field position due to those kickoff returns and also a few turnovers. UT can't afford to give them that many good opportunities again and still win.

I think UT wins by 10. Maybe 24-14.

The last few weeks is when football practice started isn't it? Where did you live in Texas? Ohio State's not playing LaLa.

San Antonio, El Paso and Beaumont.

And I can tell you without a doubt NONE of those places in Texas compares to the humidity of Florida or Louisiana and that is exactly what it has been been like in our area.

Oh also spent some time in Houston as well during the summer.

You will get no argument that the Tempature in Texas will be hotter, but not the humidity.

Futhermore I have seen it said time and time again that some teams from the east can not come into Texas and play or stand the heat.

I guess we forget about Philly thumping us in the pickle game.

Beaumont is Louisiana as far as I'm concerned and to say the humidity doesn't compare is a joke. I grew up in East Texas, you're not going to sell that to me.

I lived in Beaumont when I was a single digit youth...sue me.

Point is Humidity is not the problem at all.

The heat or probably more to the case the Dry heat is the problem for teams that come to texas not the humidity.

Dry heat is actually more draining and dangerous because you don't realize you are losing as much fluid compared to if you are sweating so much your skin feels like catfish.

Futhermore we were talking about UT...not east texas. So as I said (with the exception of beaumont) Having lived in San Antonio which is just below Austin....the humidity there does not compare to florida or louisiana.

Your starting cornerback just got busted and is going to miss the game, did you forget that?:laugh2:

Looks like it's only going to be about 93 degrees and 50% humidity Saturday. Hell, that's just a nice day around here. By gametime it should be downright chilly.
