In our system of playing the man and not the ball I'm not sure OJ would have had a chance to make all of those picks some people think he'd get.

And 8 mil a year is a lot when we have other players that need to be locked up first like Miles for instance.

Not just renewals, but guys that are a home run that you want to re-sign immediately, like Jenkins or Felix.

Now don't get me wrong I think wanting Matt Jones was really stupid but how in the world does wanting Matt Jones, for peanuts, to be a 3rd WR on this team have anything to do with paying 8 million for a starting safety? They aren't even the same thing.

He's wanting to give 8 million a year to a guy whose going to start and have to be relied heavily on and that doesn't have anything to do with paying a 3rd WR next to nothing to be a 3rd WR.


I don't really see how those two things, at all, relate other than two people be so obsessed with wanting to have a player signed to the Cowboys that, thankfully, neither of have been signed by the Cowboys.
