I heard a bit briefly on the radio how Ray Lewis is in debt, didnt catch any details though but I dont think any were given either.

He's been in the league what 10-12 years? How is this possible?

He must still be paying off the court system.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Is he gonna be the GM?

Precisely. He can come in and jump up and down and bark like a dog all he wants. It will not matter unless the entire organization is just as passionate and committed as he is.

Pearls before swine.

The Baltimore Sun suspects impending free agent WLB Bart Scott could be the odd man out with the Ravens expected to focus on keeping Terrell Suggs and Ray Lewis.
Suggs may be the team's first priority, and he has a monster contract coming. Lewis is expected to be pursued heavily by the Cowboys, but it's hard to picture the man who has come personify the Ravens franchise in a different uniform. If Scott is allowed to walk, he could be replaced by Jameel McClain.

The ravens are going to let him test the market. It's obvious we need his leadership and fire. If we are serious about locker room chemistry then Jerry's plane will be their to throw on the full court press the minute free agency begins. Get it done Jerry!!!!!

Why? You don't buy leadership to be taken seriously Lewis like any player will have to prove himself and entering his 14 year in the NFL he will be looked at not as a team leader but a stop gap. Dallas would be wiser to invest in long term players than to deal with Lewis. This is the same lame argument when we got Zack Thomas, players do not come in and just take over leadership it is something earned within the team

Id rather invest a short term contract in Brian Dawkins.

Now you know damn well Brian Dawkins is NOT going to Dallas. That's akin to treason in Philadelphia.
