Oklahoma Sooners/Texas Longhorns RRR 2011

Shoot you can give him the 21 back after Texas beats them. :laugh2:

I hope.

If they can stop OU's initial first couple of drives and get into the flow of the game against that no huddle they may have a chance.

I still think if you can get Landry into late game pressure situations you have a chance.

He's good though and he is the reason I think OU wins.

If he played for Texas i'd pick Texas.

I guess you never know with a rivalry game, but I think OU is going to kill them.

OU has the better defense and the better and more senior QB. And Texas hasn't played anyone yet.

I agree. Texas has to come out quick in this game. If OU jumps on Texas early it will be hard for this group to recover. However if Texas can get out quick they have some good young talent and with some confidence early in the game could pull the upset.

Bump cuz its the best game this weekend....

Am I seriously the only Sooner fan excited about this game? What gives Sooner hopeful? Where are you?

I am surrounded by Horns and Aggies and Bears and Red Raiders, but no Sooners. :(

Guess you guys are just stuck w/ me. :D

The others know a losing cause when they see one. :laugh2:

I expect this thing will kick into overdrive at about 5 PM Central or so. It usually works that way if past history is any indicator.

I just don't see any way in hell my Horns win this game. I really don't see it being a close game. I hope all the youngsters realize the competition is getting ramped up about ten fold.

I think it will end up being a close game and I think Texas stands a decent chance at pulling off the win. Texas has playmakers on both sides of the ball and a running game they have not had in a long time.

How you're right.
btw: the 11 am start sucks

Texas: 31
OU: 30

OU scores a last second TD and Stoops goes for two but fails. Wives all over the state of Oklahoma seek shelter and all meth labs close for business on Monday.

I didn't even realize it was at 11.

Why so early? What happened to 2:30? Anyone know?

If it's for TV, well, this game shouldn't have to move for anyone else.

I believe the 11am is the national slot and the 2:30 game is regional. That's why its on at 11.

This game is always early. At least, that's what I remember. I can't ever remember this game being a late game.

My prediction is...and I hate to even say it...

BOOMER SOONERS!

:D

It alternates between 11 AM and 2:30 PM every year. Once in the 80s it got delayed due to weather and was played at night I believe.
