this bull**** looking to the sidelines for the plays is the most horrible thing to ever happen to football.

I hate it as well, even when my team does it. That and running the 2 minute offense for almost an entire game.

Mac Brown needs to pick a QB and use him. He hampering the Horns offense by splitting time between them. A QB gains experience by playing. Both of these guys make dumb mistakes. Their rate of learning is halved by splitting time.

I don't think you can have a real contender doing this. Well, unless your team is a 100% running team, then it doesn't matter so much.

This. The game moves too fast vs. a good defense that it's tough for any two QBs to come in and rotate, much less two freshman QBs. You go from standing on the sidelines and then come in and try to read a defense with no rhythm at all? It just doesn't work.

The only QB rotation that worked recently was Tim Tebow and Chris Leak but those were two completely different types of QBs as Tebow was more of a RB and Leak was the passer.

Yeah I hate it too.

Especially when you got 5 coaches acting like monkies.

Case McCoy might have the weakest arm I've ever seen.

Yep McCoy is nothing special at all. David Ash is their best QB and should be the one to be developed

That UT turnover really hurt but the defense handled it well. I honestly thought Jones (OU qb) had an intentional grounding penalty on their 2nd drive but the refs pulled the flag after a discussion and declared a rb was in the area - looking at the replay and you can clearly see that he was in duress and only too happy to dump the pass.

Regardless, it does my burnt-orange heart a lot of good knowing that the Longhorns are a very young and talented team. The only thing missing for this squad to be a serious contender is experience (especially at the qb position). Speaking of which, that's the one position that gives me the most cause for concern. Not a big fan of two or more QBs in the rotation of every game. Mack, pick one as your starter by this season and assure him that he won't have to keep looking over his shoulder everytime he makes a mistake out there.

It's tough to look at Jones on one side, and McCoy on the other, and think that UT has much of a chance to come back.

But then again, I didn't think they'd make a game out of the NCG, so what do I know?

Problem is that Ash's arm is only somewhat better. His best asset is his athleticism, but Texas doesnt really have a great arm on their roster.

Case McCoy is not a major conference caliber QB. Everything he puts up is a dead duck.

Exactly...

Barf at the red hot Matthew Stafford comment.

I'm still not over that loss.

Wow, that was legtimately one of the worst throws I've seen this year. Texas is close to being a good team, unfortunately their shortcoming is that they don't have a QB.

#55 for Texas did a nice job of pressuring his own QB on that INT.

Game isn't over yet after that return. Oklahoma needs a TD here and then it just might. If Texas stops, they've got a chance
