OL Rebuilding coming?

The LG and C are absolutely expendable. Steele starts at RT. I’d try to grab a veteran G and draft Linderbaum in the 1st.

You're probably right, but I still think it's our biggest need. If we don't upgrade, I hope he has a great off season

C is young
RG is in his prime
RT is young
LG will be young or a FA
RT is still above average and cheap, but may be replaced in next 2-3 years

I don’t see any rebuild needed. Even if we upgrade at C soon, that’s not a rebuild.

Outside of Martin, nothing is certain, even Tyron.

My hope is to find an upgrade at LG and add legitimate competition at the Center position. Make Biad. earn his spot and be the best option to start.

I know the Jets wanted him in the trade discussions for Jamal Adams two years ago. Hell I would put a package of Cooper, Collins, Brown for Williams and 1 of their 2nd rd picks.

What was his injury last year? Wasn't it an ankle sprain, and they stashed him on IR? I don't remember him having an injury history.

Yes, an ankle.IR most of the year.Basically a redshirt year to get him acclimated to NFL life.He has talent, so hopefully we can find out what he can do this year.

Biadasz is on a rookie deal. Steele is your at RT who is also on a rookie deal.

LG will be upgraded but I wouldn’t expect much more.

This has not been discussed but Tyron doesn’t seem to “move” like he used to. I could see the Cowboys drafting Tyron’s replacement in as high as the first round if the grade is there.

If that happens, if the rookie “can hold his own” at LT, you could see Tyron kick inside to LG. Tyron’s salary is very cheap for a stud LT. But he isn’t what he used to be.

The cost of his salary is not completely prohibitive to Tyron playing as a guard. I still think he can be OK “in a phone booth” but he’s not nearly as dominant on the edge.

If the rookie has position flex (at guard) then you really help yourself in terms of insurance at LT and LG.
 
Not sure it's a rebuild. We've had Steele a few years. New LG is most likely the only brand new starting addition. I'd like to see competition at center but I doubt it.
