Olawale

Don't disagree with the OP but that ball could have been further into the end zone. It was thrown too short like that other ball to Shultz that cost a 1st Down.

The ball was thrown behind the FB and he couldn't adjust in time to make the catch. Blame goes to the QB and the FB.

Honest question

What does he bring to this team?
We traded for him and he sat on the bench most of the time then dropping sure fire touchdowns when he plays.

Why NOT cut him? Ego?
Yeah! let's get him! (pitchforks and torches)

or, throw him a pass that's not a dying shotput.

It wasn’t a perfect pass. But it still should have been a relatively easy catch. No excuse to not catch it. He didn’t even extend his arms all the way. He short armed it.

It was a terrible play by Olawale.

Worst part is. They went cheap and didn’t play Keith Smith when they have truckloads of cap space.

Olawale was horrible but Keith Smith followed Rich Biasccia to Oakland. I don't think it was about money and Smith had 8 catches in two full seasons as the Dallas FB, he missed catches also.

Dak gets a lot of credit for this loss, but that particular play was not on him. Olawale needs to catch that.

That play shouldn't have even been called anyway.

I'm still not sure why the Cowboys coaching staff is so adverse to trusting Zeke in short yardage goal line situations. I know they stopped him on 4th down, but I'm not sure they could've denied him one yard if he'd had two tries.

It's academic anyway. The way the defense played and the way the offense was shut down in the second half it's still a loss of Olawale scores.

lol

Should've been called? It was a td, I see tams calling Tds for defensive and offensive lineman.

That play is the initial responsibility of a lousy OC.

They had Zeke and one yard to go to get a first and goal. I get the O-Line was hurt, but they could've punched it to first and goal with two runs.

So, yeah, I think a dump to a seldom used FB over riding your guy leading the league in rushing wasn't the best call.
