Olawale

We're a run heavy team so you'd think we could go out and find a decent fullback.

Otherwise, give Rod Smith and Dalton Schultz his (limited snaps). He brings nothing to the team.

They had Zeke and one yard to go to get a first and goal. I get the O-Line was hurt, but they could've punched it to first and goal with two runs.

So, yeah, I think a dump to a seldom used FB wasn't the best call.

I guess you missed him getting stuffed at the goal line too...lol

It wasn’t a perfect pass. But it still should have been a relatively easy catch. No excuse to not catch it. He didn’t even extend his arms all the way. He short armed it.

It was a terrible play by Olawale.

Don't know. Maybe he expected it sooner and/or deeper. It was clearly short and it's hard to come forward again when you're already running back. You can't be inaccurate with a throw that short to a guy you almost never use. I could blame both but my scale leans more towards Dak on this play.

I saw that was on fourth down and they tried to get cute and do a delayed run away from the weight of the line.

Maybe Zeke gets stuffed twice. I still think it's worth trying than using a guy that barely gets involved in the offense.

I don't think they keep Zeke from one yard if they just do a straight power run behind a big set.

I love how if Dak throws the ball within a 5 yard radius the onus is put entirely on the reciever. There’s no thought given to the ball placement accuracy etc.

Two things can be equally true: 1) Olawale should have been able to adjust to that ball but 2) when you’re a receiver running free, the worst thing a QB can do is throw it short; LEAD YOUR RECIEVER.

The issue on the Jarwin drop. Any middling NFL caliber QB lays that ball out in front to let the reciever catch it in stride.

Instead, Dak raises the level of difficulty uneccesarily by making it a jump ball.

This is who Dak is; a streaky, inconsistent gamer.

this team will get mashed by the seahawks if they even maek the playoff which at this time they could

The fact he was in the game...down there....says this staff should be coaching on the HS level....and then ruin some D1 scholarship candidates.

There are other examples of poor passes thrown by Prescott where he has little or no defense for himself but criticizing him for that particular pass is a fan perspective problem, not Prescott's. Olawale had decent balance, saw the ball clearly and no one was close to hitting him or the ball. He simply missed catching both a catchable and relatively easy pass.

Do not understand why some people are compelled to be overly critical about the quarterback for something they cannot be held at fault. And the player who did not do his job gets partially or completely taken off the hook. High school. College. Pros. Some people just have tunnel vision.

Oh, now they're cute, man get the freak out of here. The play was a good play that should've been six, he's known for being a good receiving FB.

Olawale has two receptions for 13 yards on the season. It doesn't matter what he's been known for, it matters that they haven't been using him a lot.

I still trust Zeke to pick up the first or the TD more.

And yeah, the misdirection was a bit "cute". Run him with a head of steam behind the big guys.

Who gives a rats a, he had one job, catch the damn ball that he should've caught. You use what's available to you. It called being a football player.

I went back and watched it and now I do swing back a little. Olawale mistimed it and did look like he expected it sooner. If he kept his arms open maybe he has to fall to the ground to make the catch and might not score but we would have had a first down at the 1. So I say equal fault because that catch did not need to be the chore that it was.

It's official.....he made the 2018 Fall Guy list.

If it's in your area, CATCH IT. There's no need to analyze any further.

he was running sideways/back he couldn't dive for that under thrown awful pass
You seriously think he needed to DIVE to be able to catch that pass? I guess i should commend you for being able to post on the internet despite being blind.
