Trouty.
Tomorrow is Sunday and I have $250 parlays as you can see from another thread that I started. I am your typical Coors Light, Bud Light, Heineken Light guy. In your honor, I will get a 6 pack of something that is your favorite.
I want at least 6% alcohol content and easy drinkability. As you know I am a light beer guy.
Thanks in advance for suggestions.
Easy Shunpike, my all-time favorite, hands down beer, that is light yet full bodied -- Weihenstephaner. Both the regular (world class lager) and Hef are absolutely incredible. The regular is a robust 5.1, and the hef is 5.3 abv. They are great "sipping" beers and should be drunken out of a pint glass to open the aroma, proteins, and taste (tho, I should take my own advice, I always just drink them out of the bottle, now).
They aren't your 6.0 that you requested. If you want a higher abv beer, go with Stone Brewery IPA (6.9) or Skulpin IPA (7.0). Both are hoppy IPA's but are incredibly well made, notes of citrus and mango but forward taste of pine -- which usually sets people off of the IPA love fest if they aren't used to it. A six'er of either of these two will have you drunk if you don't have a tolerance, especially the Sculpin, so if you're not looking to get that high, I would go with the beers I mentioned in the first paragraph. These two beers also need to be drunken out of a pint glass (tho, I also never do).
I live in Cali, and the two listed in the second paragraph are locally brewed but very popular across the globe. The two in the first paragraph are German imports and should be able to be found at any shop that specializes in craft brew.
Good luck
