Coàch, l meant to ask if your South Padre Is. was close tò Corpus Christi?

We're a couple of hours south. south padre island is just east of Brownsville.

I am still confused! I have been to both Brownsville and Corpus...when l was in Corpus, this was years ago, l am sure we went to a (south??)Padre Island and ate jalapeno burgers and drank beer!? we weren't tourists..but it was kind of a touristy place. Heck, maybe l'm crazy!!

padre island runs along the edge of SouthnTexas, from Brownsville up to Corpus. The island is called North Padre Island in Corpus and South Padre Island down here. south Padre is much more of a resort area. Huge spring break crowds.
