I miss watching those commercials for the greatest hits of the 70',80's,90's or top 100 love songs or top 50 duets. You know they uses to show them late at night.

That and the clapper. Wonder what happened to the clapper

The Clapper. LOL> My dad actually bought a Clapper a few months before he died. He hooked it up to his desk lamp. Oh my god, I hated that damn thing. lol. I'm sorry, I did. LOL. The day after my dad died, we were sitting in the living room, and everybody was talking and sharing memories, and with every clappy or bangy loud noise, like a door shutting or a clap of someone's hands in conversation, that damn lamp would turn on and off, and I just shouted, "can we please unhook this damn Clapper now??" LOL

I love my dad to the end of time, but I hated that damn clapper thingamajig, and I'm glad it's out of my life. LOL. But I do still love the little jingle, "Clap on, Clap off, The Clapper." :p

Essential listening (my ex 'refuses' to listen to it [she has, tho, a few times]):

Gulp. Big gulp. That is so beautiful, Trouty. And I have loved Ricky Schroder since the 70s. lol. That video is painful, dammm. The song is very deep. It actually sounds like the ending to a song I have loved since the 90s, by Clint Black....

An Allison Krauss song I have always loved, a cover of a Disney classic, but she sang it better than anyone ever did, Baby Mine...I prefer the video with the Dumbo footage, but of course youtube doesn't have it anymore with her singing it. But having a child who suffered for years within the constraints of Autism, this song is so precious to me. It was so damm good with that Dumbo footage, though. I sure wish they still had that video. But here is her angelic voice, anyway....

I didn't realize this thread had turned into a hang out spot. I love it. Kinda like a neighborhood bar, eh? Cheers! Ha! Where's Woody Boyd? :p

Yeah, I heard about Rashaan, but I didn't remember him. He looked so happy and hopeful in his younger pictures, though. I am always fearful for the guys who don't quite make it in the big leagues. I always wonder what is going to happen to them. This is definitely the worse case scenario. Always tragic when it comes to be. Poor guy. Poor family. :(
Hey Kim...this is the best darn thread on the site...started by Trouty. Great place to hang and only the best people come in here. Its the happy boozers place. Believe it or not...there are even some Cowboy fans here. All hating is left at the door!! You will love it here. You should have Lane drop by and say hello!

Bank just called, someone tried to use my debit card in the Bronx NY. Had to cancel it, I guess I'm done Christmas shopping.

That sucks, man. I had something similar about 4 months ago, except mine was being used in Brazil and Australia. Got all my money back.

Was told by Citibank to just use my credit card, since it's insured and less of a hassle to recover the funds, and pay it off online when I get home. Been using my credit card ever since.
