Thanks, I know it makes you start thinking how short life is, for real.
A good friend of mine is 52, he is also and AD and head football coach, needs two years to retire and has been looking forward to it. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer right before Christmas. This is one of the reasons I'm considering retiring this summer. Been working since I was 14, may be time to hang them up and relax a little. Those 80 to 90 hour work weeks during football season take a toll.

Yeah, life is so short you need to enjoy it, and like they say you can't take it with you.

Yeah sometimes it's good to get out while the getting is good.

Just last year a guy I knew who was a coach at a local school died at 61. He had said for the last 8 years he was going to retire and just enjoy himself, he died on the job.

There was a guy around town that delivered me the local newspaper and TV guide every week. He had been delivering it to me for 16 years but he was an icon in this town. He had been delivering for the local paper since the 1980's. You would always see him around town riding his bike. He had just turned 70 but he looked like he was in great shape. He would ride that bike in all sorts of weather. He died of a heart attack on New Years day. Such a nice man. Still sad about that.

Morning, Dave!

On the long drive home from dropping my son off at school, my damn check engine light came on again!!! They just did a full overhaul of the transmission a month ago. This is the third time it's come on. Only 37k miles on the car, bought it brand new. Called Ford and told them I'm bringing it back in tomorrow.

I'm infuriated :mad::banghead::angry:
Hey Trouty...may be a good time to trade that lemon in!!
