On the long drive home from dropping my son off at school, my damn check engine light came on again!!! They just did a full overhaul of the transmission a month ago. This is the third time it's come on. Only 37k miles on the car, bought it brand new. Called Ford and told them I'm bringing it back in tomorrow.

Got a shock yesterday a guy I grew up with and knew all my life and a friend died yesterday, big shock. He was only 57 or 58

I hope it's something small, but I fear they missed something and am worried they're gonna have to crack open the tranny again. I've been really polite to them through all these issues, but this is beginning to weigh on my patience.

Sorry to hear that Dave, gets you to thinking. A couple of years ago two of my HS friends died within a week, both in their late 40's and both of natural causes.
