Miami is one of the best rushing teams in the league, if you thought Cook dominated mostert and achane may go for 200 yards each

Aside from a playoff elimination game or a game for division title, this Miami game is huge. If we get lambasted again, the confidence on this team will be down the crapper. And then the season is flushed.

Yep, if people thought Cook looked fast running the ball wait until they see Achane and Mostert. Defense will need a lot more than they showed today.
True but I think Allen's ability to use his legs ( they were expecting it ) similar to Hurts, was part of the problem. They won't have to worry about that with Tua coz he doesn't use his legs nearly as much.

Keep in mind, that we can play our best game of the year and still lose.

The confidence is already in the crapper

Problem is they have smart coaching that know how to scheme them to run in many different ways. Watch them use WRs on gadget plays and run around and through the porous defense.

I honestly don't think the players care now that we're in the playoffs. I imagine they would just like to relax until the playoffs. We aren't exactly coached tough, and we only get up for big games at home. I maybe see us beating Detroit, maybe the No-Names, but losing out would not surprise me, either.

Miami loves to run motion prior to the snap.
Hill, prior to his injury, was schemed in a lot of pre-snap motion. They like to move him around.
Alec Ingold also does a lot of pre-snap motion.
They run a lot of play action.
Their Tight ends are mainly for blocking but can be safety valves when Hill/Waddle are covered.

Mostert and Achane are the types of backs if the first defender can't bring down then it's off to the races. Dallas will have to have sound tackling fundamentals. Can't let them get to their second gear.

Their interior offensive line are all backups. Armstead is the left tackle some think Tyron is, made of glass.
They still can open lanes for the run, and Lamm, Armstead's backup, has done a solid job.

Defensively, Miami is another defense that has jekyl and hyde performances but they can get pressure and stop the run.
They've been hit by the injury bug big time and I'm not for sure if the 9 or so starters who are out will miss or be back in time.

Their interior defensive line is one of their strengths with Sieler and Wilkins being two DT's that can shed blocks and attack the QB.
Chubb is having a good year and is like Lawrence. Not flashy, but can step up with some good run stops with the sack here and there.
AVG is a jack of all trades who has taken over for Phillips.

Like Dallas, their interior LB's are nothing special.
Their secondary if Holland, Elliot and Howard can be back in time, is a good group with Ramsey now back for over a month. Kohou is a good slot corner.

Dallas Cowboys in outdoor stadiums against teams that finish with more than 10 wins:

2023 Buffalo 10-31 L (decent shot at 11 wins)

2023 Philadelphia 23-28 L

2023 San Francisco 10-42 L

2022 Philadelphia 17-26 L

2022 Jacksonville 34-40 L

2022 San Francisco 12-19 L (playoff game)

2021 Tampa Bay 29-31 L

2021 Kansas City 9-19 L

2021 San Francisco 17-23 L (playoff game)

2020 Seattle 31-38 L

2020 Baltimore 17-34 L

2018 Rams 22-30 L (playoff game)

2016 Green Bay 31-34 L (playoff game)

2016 Giants 7-10 L

2016 Pittsburgh 35-30 W

The last time they won a game like that was 7 years ago, Dak’s rookie season. Miami has 10 wins currently.

This game will be huge not only for the “can’t beat winning teams” narrative after beating Miami and Philly in a 3 week span, but also the “away/outdoor/grass field” narrative that seems to pop up every year. Big monkey off the back

the final score could get McCarthy and Quinn fired. Thats how bad this next game might get.
