LOL every year same ole same ole we literally could've elevated this team from potential contender to clear cut favorites yet the idiots that sit atop of the star head quarters hold the fan base hostage in what was the most talent changing hands at the trade deadline in league history. Get this for the hope of a return of James Washington, and often injured Tyron Smith. The worst thing that ever happened is that offense put up 40+ Sunday.........now here we are.

Not me. I wanted a trade/upgrade to our run defense. A Derrick Brown type DT or maybe even a mid level 2 down thumper LB. Just a guy with the sole responsibility of run stuffing.

They’re gonna sign obj. What Jerry hinted at. Said could upgrade with someone not on a roster.

Unless they bring in Suh (which do not hold your breath for), they think Hankins along will get it done, when the rest of your DT, which I would not give a pack of Lance crackers and a RC cola for, big disappointment.

Unless there was a great bargain for a corner I expected this.

Some more speed at WR would have been nice but hopefully Washington coming back can provide that without giving up future draft capital.

Well barring something that hasn't been announced...once again we eat the cheese that the Jones boys lie about.

Fans continue to buy in to what’s being reported. Someone who gets paid to talk football says they think the Cowboys are going to make a trade and fans act like it’s a done deal.

Lie is an odd choice of word. Trying to work a deal and not over paying or different things
You are right. Bad choice of words. I get confused by hearing them talk about getting better while actually doing nothing that actually improves the team while other better run franchises seem to do just that. Lie wasn't the proper term.

Would have liked some beef along the lines.
Paying by the pound so the pricing was probably to high.

"Lets go Brandon" and his inflation.

They traded for Hankins so technically its not nothing. However, this is what I expected and didn't expect any big move. You'll hear later that they had several moves they could have made but weren't in the best interest of the team for the future.

Don't be dissapointed we're 6-2 and have assembled a pretty darn good team.

Nothing to see here. Jerry was just up on his pulpit babbling earlier today because he forgot his meds.

The needs were/are there at two or three positions. Likely candidates (both reported and unreported) to fill those needs could have been had for the right price. Jones and Son just lacked the courage to make any moves. The Cowboys have very timid folks pulling the strings. So, we go with what we have and hope for the best. Maybe, perhaps just maybe....this franchise can catch lightning in a bottle and advance in the playoffs. Maybe....hopefully.....
