I mean these teams are pretty even. Why are you so bent out of shape?
These are the only positions the eagles are better than Dallas:
  • GM
  • Coach/OC
  • QB1
  • RB unit
  • WR unit
  • TE1
  • OL unit
  • DL unit
  • DE
  • Defensive Front overall Depth
  • CB group
  • K
I think I’d put owner in there too. He stays out of the way.

We run a different system than the Eagles.

Their Olinenis better than ours but not many teams can say that.

Our Oline is fine. The league is general has terrible offensive lines and we aren’t one of those teams.
Is it really though?

Two simple stats suggest otherwise....keeping in mind we had to shuffle our OL all year due to injuries.

1. Rushing yards per attempt. Philly was 13th at 4.6 and Dallas was 18th at 4.3 while having to trot out Zeke all year.

2. Sacks. Philly gave up 44 sacks at 7.6% sack rate. Dallas had 27 with a 4.6% sack rate.

Was Philly better on the OL this year? Sure....

Is the gap large considering the injuries...nope.

Oh I agree.. It’s not a huge gap and if you told me you like the Cowboys Oline better I could agree with that.

I’d take theirs but not by a lot.

Biggest differences: Cox, Hargrave, Goedert, AJ Brown, Miles Sanders, Haasan Reddick, Darius Slay, Jordan Davis. We have no one that compares to those players.

Stupid Jerry let Howie move 1 pick ahead and take a future HOF TE who's name is Dallas.
LOL....and you guys want to compare ourselves to the Eagles?
GL with that.....
P.S. Eagles have a GM not a drunken Circus clown surrounded by all YES men running things!

Ceedee is very comparable and could even be argued he is better than Brown.

Pollard is a very similar, if not better, player than Sanders.

Reddick- Micah is just better.

Slay is overated. I'll take Diggs.

Hankins is better than Davis.

Rest i can agree with.

If memory serves, Hargrave was the first player to sign that year. Philly was all over him because they recognize the importance of the position and act accordingly.

Even when they already had Cox….and when they had both thereafter, they still spent a first on a DT last year.

We keep waiting for the Hills and Gallimores of the world to finally have that breakout year.

Recognizing the importance of that position is one of the bigger differences between the two.

When the Cowboys had this level of dominance on their oline, they did nothing with it. When you have an elite oline or dline in the trenches you have it made and need take advantage of it. Cowboys didn't b/c Dumb & Dumber stuck them with a head coach learning on the job. A coach who can't even get a college gig a few years after having the keys to the richest franchise on planet Earth for an entire decade. There is a lot of shame in this franchise the last 20+ years, one of the lowest for me is not winning anything of substance with The Great Wall of Dallas. Truly shameful looking back.

Those were the days...good times. This oline was dominate. Wasted away because of coaching.

Eagles have a good owner and GM. Cowboys don't. Biggest difference by far.

The Eagles have always been focused on the DL as have NY and WAS almost as much. DAL is the only East team not to really focus on the DL, all of the DL, since Parcells left. He brought in Glover. Since then, the middle has been neglected because DE's are sexy.

And it is strange because the NFC East has been known as the ground and pound division for a very long time.

Heard today that AJ Brown is the only starter on the eagles offense who was not drafted by the eagles? Doesn't sound possible.

It is true....10 of 11 starters on offense were drafted. Defense is another story - 5 starters were drafted or signed as UDFAs by the Eagles. Reddick, Bradbury, Gardner-Johnson, Slay, White, and Hargrave were acquired via trade/FA.

Are you a crazy person?

I'm a Cowboys fan... it even says so in my screen name.

If I was an EAGLES fan, my name would be EaglesLakerBamaFan.
