ONE PLAY defines garrett play calling...

So we should never pass then.

Because a FB dive makes the play shorter than a pass.

So nothing but FB dives from now on. Get 'er dun Garrett.

QB sneak offense will revolutionize the league.

BTW, AMENDOLAZ just made a huge 4th down reception. Rue.

I think you're trying to suggest that the play is more difficult because Romo is farther away from center.

Unless we called a QB sneak on 4th and 2, you would have to apply your reasoning to all other scenarios. If we throw, a three step drop makes it 5 yards. If we handoff to a back, it's 4 yards.

Or whatever. I just think your reasoning is silly.

Bingo.

Can we haz Tebow to run this offense?

Also...

If we had Matt Moore and Amendola; Super Bowl Bound. Fact.

Last I heard 7 points is more than 6. Style points don't count for anything.

Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett are 7-3. They dropped no passes, didn't throw any too high for receivers, didn't fumble in the red zone, didn't miss any field goals, didn't let Campbell escape time and time again, and didn't let Washington convert what seemed like every third and long on a player's mental mistake.

Is it Wade's and RG's responsibility to fix the mistakes? Absolutely.

But once they snap the ball, the players have to execute.

4th and 2 is 4th and 2. It doesn't become 4th and 5 just because the QB is lined up in the shotgun, or because the RB receives the ball 2 yards behind the LOS.

sure give him the ball 5 yards deeper than he ... you know...your right...I'm not even gonna waste my time with you. Good luck in your Madden 09 game.

I think you should go mow the lawn or something before your hole turns into a ditch.

Obviously Tebow is the master plan.

lol....ok you got me.

You are missing the point. He can't win because he is not good. He does not know how to run the football correctly.

think of what shotgun was developed for...running plays or pass plays. don't use passing examples as your basis, because it is wrong.

if only 1 play gets to define Garrett how come u get to pick the play...?

gott admit...you may have shut me up with that...

of course if i could get a "redo", another play that might define him was trunigndown the atlanta and baltimore jobs because they couldn't win there and he is bound for bigger and better things...

So basically, we get Tebow and run the QB sneak/draw offense. We'll mix in the FB dive to keep defenses "honest" with Buehler.

I think what we have here is a revolutionary offense.

Bound to win Super Bowls. It shortens the length of the field or something like that.

It turns 4th and 2's into 4th and 2's.

True.

Imagine trying to convert a 4th and 8 with a 5 step drop. That'd turn it into 4th and 13.

Our offense solves that.

QB sneak.

4th and 8 QB sneak >>>>>>>>>>>> 4th and 13

its not that hard to figure out really... if he would of been under center rather than shotgun, Romo could of done a play action and atleast see if a few defendes would bite

myself, I just thought it was dumb as hell to pass it when we were getting yards on the ground easier

this is the best thing you ever posted

that's saying a little

Wasn't it also shotgun on 3rd and 1? Then Romo audibled the draw to Barber that we all could have called from our sofas.

A competent oc doesn't take power running plays out of the equation in those situations.

Wait now I'm confused. If it's 4th and 8 with a 5 step drop and the quarterback throws a 12 yard completion is it a first down or no? Or would that 12 yard completion really be a 17 yard completion? What if we got a 3 foot tall quartback, his 5 steps drops couldn't possibly be 5 yards and that would shorten the field wouldn't it? Maybe then we'd only need 11 yards instead of 13 yards on 4th and 8.
