That is averaging in the 2-years that remained on his original contract. If you split his new contract and original contract in order to get and apples-to-apples comparison of signing a Free Agent, the new contract looks like 6-years at 9M average.

Wow. It is even worse than I thought. Dallas sucks at the draft, maybe the worst in the league. You would think a little luck would get you more than that.....a blind monkey throwing a dart at the draft board would have done better.

Jerry needs to fire the whole lot and start over. Hire a monkey to throw a dart at he draft board.
