Twitter: Opinion: Damone Clark to be activated to 53 man roster next week

It's been documented he had a set-back...that's the problem with ACL's...in hindsight if Damone is ready to get reps even on ST it will give him valuable experience going into the meat of the season which Jabril already has

Jabril will benefit from additional recovery time but IMHO his decline in speed via injury has him off of the field for now
If that’s true then I’m glad to hear it but I never could find a clear answer on why Cox or Tolbert couldn’t make the game day roster. Has Cox not played at all this year?

I'm just wondering how they would work Clark into the lineup or would he be a core STs guy for this year like Joseph. One of favorite draft picks, if not the favorite, so I'm ready to see him play wit Parsons n Sam Williams.
Highly likely he would get some ST snaps before snaps on defense.

Clark works his way in sub packages and teams, but Q already knows that Clark has the ability to get lateral quicker than LVE.
Best man to close the edge gets the playing time, and Clark has that, but LVE will go down swinging.
Either way, both will get time.

Jabril Cox is playing near-max snaps on special teams.

That wouldn't happen if there was any hint of an injury issue.

Note: Core ST players generally don't play (offensive special teams) on Field Goal and Extra Point attempts.
- i.e. Top ST players rarely surpass 90% of snaps.

With Joseph coming on as a good gunner do you think they could free up a roster spit by moving on from CJ Goodwin?

Why do y’all think that y’all are doctors? Or even better do any of y’all have hands-on contact with the team and medical staff?

So many people give advice on this forum as to how a player should be treated or when they should be called up. You literally have zero idea what condition he’s in.

He’s not a key contributor at this point so why would they rush him back for no reason? If he’s getting called up that means he’s medically cleared and ready. Why y’all like to act like you know better is so strange to me. It’s not even Jerry saying this lol

As an orthopedic doc:

The surgery he had to my knowledge was the fusion following discectomy for herniation of disc. The lower cervical spine has less mobility than higher levels, so in conjunction with the fusion the site is safe with impact and return to sport. Shouldn't have any issues with it; and he shouldn't have any physical limitations that linger.

This unit is getting better by the week as well.
Going to have to find room for Clark here early.

You need to use your bifocals and look again, because I said nothing about an opinion.

The guy had spinal fusion surgery. That just sounds like something the staff should be extra careful with.

Nobody said anything to you about an opinion.

When the Cowboys opened his practice window they started the 21 day clock. Either he's on the roster after 21 days or he's out for the year. They don't have an option to wait anymore. So you're telling them to do something they can no longer do unless they want to sacrifice his entire season.

Fellas we're 5 games in with 12 to go, Clark could be starting MLB in a playoff game if things break right for him...a lot of ball left to be played.

They will be "smart" (weak) with him. Playing him only on special teams for quite awhile.

But once he gets to play on defense the Micah Parsons era is over. He'll be an afterthought. Nobody will care. If you're being honest, this news on Clark has already made you care less about Micah.

Same as LVE?

I think the reason fans are like this is because all too often we see players come back from injuries who weren't ready to, and in turn, get hurt again or reaggravate the original injury

Like who lol? Zeke’s PCL is one of the few I can think of but he just refused to be inactive.

Nobody in particular, but how many times do you hear of an athlete who was rushed back from an injury and what I mentioned happens, happens. ie, we rush Dak back and he takes a hit to his paw, and out for 6 more weeks. Ty comes back and reinjures whatever his injury is/was, and he misses time. Happened lots with Lee, LVE, etc. That's my take at least, lol

Yeah idk man doesn’t really add up for me. Dak was injured week 1 after a whole healthy offseason, not sure how or what they rushed him back from week 1. Tyron got injured in camp, not in a rush back from anything.

I don’t really remember this happening but won’t crush you for your opinion
