I didn't watch the game very carefully, but I thought Carpenter played pretty well last night. Especially considering how poorly guys like Bowen andd Co. were playing in front of him.

He doesn't get cut.

Yes Carp does seem to lack toughness. And skills.
No, Jerra will not cut a high-draft pick, for ego purposes.
Jerra will tough it out and hope to showcase Carp somehow and get some trade value for him to save face.
