That's a long shot and you know it. ;)

We'd rather hope that whatever MM's cookin works in one way or another. And I don't care if this includes a great season from Dak or him being just the bus driver and the talent around him doing the job.

I REALLY want this draught to end.
Dak at some point will need to be relied upon to do something and will fail like he always does.

Do not fall for the fools gold if he looks decent a few games. The failure will follow like always.

I can't wait for you guys to see Moore wasn't the problem.

That "told ya so" will be glorious.
I somewhat share your criticism of Dak, but this doesn't look good man. If you want success for the Cowboys, then you being right about this means yet another wasted season for us all. And no fan could want that. So that "told ya so" wouldn't be glorious but rather infuriating and sad.
yeah, it’s really weird at this point.

No, he’s rooting for what’s better for the team, because the starting Qb does suck and he’s proven it for 7 years running and it’s just being realistic to want him to suck to the point they don’t waste anymore time on the guy who is still sucking, but apparently not enough for Jerry and Stephen to continue on with the delusion..
Teams move on from Number one overall picks faster than Dallas has done (yet to do) with Dak. Failure to realize what you have and don't have is the problem when the owner is the GM.

This is so illogical. He is not all of a sudden going to turn into Jeff George or Ryan Leaf, or a Quincy Carter.
He is what he is, a very above average QB than can have some great games, and a few clunkers as well.
But he has far more good to very good games than he has bad games. But you and others can' or won't admit to that.

Build the team that is what is needed. You think that, hey can just go get his replacement. Then again you would love the 3-14 seasons with a new QB that a 12-5 season with Dak.

we were 4-1 without Dak. We were 1-0 the year prior with Rush, throwing for close to 400 yards with Cooper having by far, his best hand after the Tampa game, Dak wasn’t the reason we were 12-5…. Andy Dalton had more wins than Dak, with his 7 TOs in 2020 and Zach Martin, with a more garbage roster as well.

You should turn in your fan card. Your obsession over wanting Dak fail is also wanting the team to fail. This s one of the most pathetic things I have read recently.
You rather thump your chest to be right than to win.

You come in here saying...Dak over Dallas fans...blah, blah, blah...but yet here you are being a DAK MUST FAIL over being a Dallas fan.
If the team has to fail before it can succeed then so be it.

The Cowboys will NEVER.... NEVER... win with Dak Prescott.

So how and why to build a team around a slightly above-average QB with a $40M AAV that has shown in the last 2 playoff losses that he lacks the it factor to elevate this team when he has a top defense to carry the team???? Now that is fools' gold thinking.

Dak can’t throw a drop back pass under center consistently. If he’s under center it’s pretty much a quick drop-back pass. When Dallas is in shotgun it’s pretty much a dead give away, Dak is THROWING.

You can’t blame the OC for Dak’s inability to now throw an accurate timing route.

Not nearly as weird as caring more about watching Dak play then the Cowboys having success.

Ya'll hated 4-1 with Cooper Rush. We remember.
SHOW US where any fan hated going 4-1 with Rush? I did not see any fans complaining, except for the 3 stupid INT's he threw in the 1st half of the Eagles game. Then he led the team to within. 3 points in the 2nd half...NO FAN complained.

:lmao::facepalm: comical...

So what, Dak would have won those games as well with the way the defense was playing. He could have very easily been 5-0...and you know it...they would not have bee 1-4 for sure.
Or he could have played like he did against Tampa the first game and Moore wouldn’t have implemented a “new approach” and Dak would have had his worst season ever. Or we would have lost a lot more games with Dak if the same defense didn’t hold the opponent to no score or FGs after Dak turned the ball over with his bone-headed plays.

I don’t think you get it. So then your claim that Dak is the reason they were 12-5 doesn’t work, as Dallas was 4-1 with Rush and 5-1 overall to include last year.

Because they have no other choice but to do so.
I am not defending Dak, I am just being "realistic" as the "dislikers" always claim.

The other choice is to pay the big $$$ this year, the if no success (again) let him go next year. But WE ALL know that is not going to happen. Hence, build the team.

I get it perfectly. It is you and the others that don't get it. Again, poor reasoning...oohhh...Copper was 4-1...oohhh...
So 5-1...Dak's record is far better if you want to go back in time.

not remotely lol. I was ready to throw the towel after week one, but would’ve built a statue for Coop for how he saved the season. had they flamed out i admittedly probably would’ve enjoyed kicking y’all while you were down, but would never actively root for it by any means. i’m team “just win baby”

you’re on record clear as day and love to build strawmen.

Listening to SJ he mentioned MM brought up moving on from Moore. At least it sounded that way.

MM is a SB winning coach. He knows he dont have a rogers. I am seeing them going or attempting to go Cowboys 2016. Run first with a big O-Line and good RBs. That maybe different for MM but he brought in power running O-Line coach and again knows he don’t have rogers. Put more WR talent around Dak and go with the short high % passes and let them get YAC. He will have a good Defense maybe even great and a very good ST.

MM knows his job is on the line because Quinn will likely get his job unless he goes to SB. If I am MM and am saddled with Dak then this is what I do. Dak can do this but you can not ask him to throw tight window passes all day or throw 40 times a game to Noah Browns. Keep it simple and lean on a run game. They do have a Dak that’s improved from 2016. He can make the throws. Just dont abandon the run if you get down by 2 points.

NO NO NO NO, because when he was first hired he COULDN'T BRING IN HIS OWN GUYS, Kellen was kept because of Jerry, so now all of a sudden he's allowed to make decisions?? Oh please

If you're team "just win baby" then you should know that Dak needs to go.
