Jane Slater reported from the combine that Mike looks really energized and excited to be running the offense. She said that Mike was very open about the exciting work he and the coordinator and line coach have already been doing to shore up both the shoddy run blocking schemes and the pass pro. Mike wants a tighter pocket for the passing game and better run blocking schemes by formation.

Sounds like he did not hold Moore in the genius category that Jerry did.
Too bad Joe Lombardi was MM right hand man got over a decade, so not sure you can blame Moore was these “schemes”.

Was that the game JG wouldn’t get him help at LT and he got killed. Then again the next week against egirls.
Ah yes, typical excuses. I guess it was Smith’s fault to when he played the next game against the Chargers and Dak only put up 6 pts. Let’s forget the fact that against the eagles Morris rushed for 91 yds on 17 Carried. It could have just been that Dak sucked against winning teams.

Forget the fact he looked like garbage against the bottom dwellers Commanders and Giants too.

I can't wait for you guys to see Moore wasn't the problem.

That "told ya so" will be glorious.
They know he’s not the problem. These were the same guys telling us when Rush was playing, all Moore needs to do is use Dak in the same “gone management” offense and we’d take off. Then they’d yap about how we were “the number 1 ranked offense”, not because of Moore, but Dak. And now they are back to scapegoating everybody else but Dak.

Before it was Linehan is the problem, as he’s limiting Dak…. Now we are back to Linehan apparently..

When other teams know what you’re gonna call it makes it where you have to execute better to win.
Ain’t nobody be knowing our calls. They just know our limitations.

You can tell a corner go ahead and press Bc This qb accuracy stinks he will not hurt you by the sidelines and he won’t hurt you deep. Then that gives their linebackers ability to lurk underneath or whatever what do I know do I look like John madden over here?

All I know is the quarterback has a bad arm a bum leg and doesn’t make quick decisions. Gonna lose against greatness every time.

The one thing consistent about us Dak-haters was that he’s the problem.

The one thing consistent about Dak-Stans is their flip-flopping of who the problem is, as long as it’s not Dak.
I just think the new thing now is be positive. Y’all don’t wanna draft a bad qb and risk not making the playoffs now would ya?

Be positive. 6 prime time games! New cowboys app coming

I was talking about week 10 in 2017. When chaz green made a rookie look all pro with 6 sacks and at half time JG was supposed to get him help and didn’t. Also I think Elliot was out. Then he got sacked another 4 times the next week and thew 3 picks. 3 of his 13 picks that year in one game. O-Line makes a difference. That’s why we need to get our pass rush back this year. We did so good the first half of the year and the second half not so much.

Yes. And the very next game WEEK 11 in 2017 Smith came back against the Chargers and Dam completely sucked and put up only 6 points, meaning Dak’s pocket presence was garbage and he continued to suck even with Smith in. So blaming Chaz Green doesn’t cut it.

Moore doesn't try to throw anyone under the bus to keep his job, here's his reply, “It was really fun just to go through the process of merging worlds. I think that was such a fun process,” Moore said, via ESPN.com. “There are just so many little things as you go through game plans and gamedays as you’re calling the game, just being able to have those conversations about different ways you can go, different paths you can take, he was really a great sounding board for me.”

I know it's like we need to pay him elite extension money BUT also while dumbing it back down to the Linehan rookie year offense so Dak doesn't throw too much. So there's a contradiction.

And then ya got all this latest interest in more receivers BUT while also talking up a run first mentality.
Another contradiction.

So yep, status quo for that well oiled Front Office machine of the Dallas Cowboys.

27 years and counting.

So...
KEEP building the team around the guy who can't win against tough defenses/playoff teams regardless of coaching, playcalling, defensive support or run game?

To keep doing this same thing over and over and expect different results after 7 years is insanity.

It's time to finally take the lumps financially and invest in a new approach at QB.

The current guy's ceiling has come and gone.

QB purgatory is real and it needs immediate change.

That's a long shot and you know it. ;)

We'd rather hope that whatever MM's cookin works in one way or another. And I don't care if this includes a great season from Dak or him being just the bus driver and the talent around him doing the job.

I REALLY want this draught to end.
No more beer draughts for you.

Listening to SJ he mentioned MM brought up moving on from Moore. At least it sounded that way.

MM is a SB winning coach. He knows he dont have a rogers. I am seeing them going or attempting to go Cowboys 2016. Run first with a big O-Line and good RBs. That maybe different for MM but he brought in power running O-Line coach and again knows he don’t have rogers. Put more WR talent around Dak and go with the short high % passes and let them get YAC. He will have a good Defense maybe even great and a very good ST.

MM knows his job is on the line because Quinn will likely get his job unless he goes to SB. If I am MM and am saddled with Dak then this is what I do. Dak can do this but you can not ask him to throw tight window passes all day or throw 40 times a game to Noah Browns. Keep it simple and lean on a run game. They do have a Dak that’s improved from 2016. He can make the throws. Just dont abandon the run if you get down by 2 points.
This just confirms to me what I knew when they signed MM. Jerry pushed Moore on MM. MM wanted to call plays from the beginning. IN fact, he said in his big year off the one big thing he learned was NOT to let anyone else call plays. Big red flag when he agreed to let Moore do it.
