Looking at the last game and seeing the stats not impressive with 1 TD and 3 Interceptions but I personally missed majority of the game had early Christmas but give me some insight on Moore's play and do you feel he has a future with the Dallas Cowboys ?

We need to see much more.

He had a few good plays. He also had some really, really bad plays.

In all, he played better than Cassell, however not better than the best game Cassell has played for us this year.

It looks to me like his physical limitations will prevent him from being anything other than a QB3 or maybe QB2 in the league.

We saw nothing yesterday to indicate that he didn't deserve to be cut from the Lions and that he deserves anything more than being QB3 or on the practice squad for the Cowboys.

He has 2 more games to change that viewpoint.

QB controversy in Dallas? LOL

who knows. Some Kellen Moore fans think that Romo was looking worried on the sidelines when Kellen got his go at the offense.

It's hasnt even been a game can't really have an opinion yet. At least he's not scared to go downfield.

He was reading the defense quickly. He's decisive with the ball. He's elusive in the pocket and bought some time. He's got that spark that you look for in a QB. His problem was that, while he read the coverage quickly, he read it wrong or just plain missed a defender twice. Once because he was under pressure and 'pulling a Tony.' Once because he was staring down a receiver.

I short, he's making mistakes you'd expect a young QB to make, but they're still mistakes. He'll have to demonstrate that he can take better care of the ball at this level. I think he's got a shot, though. I'm looking forward to watching him the next two weeks. Probably the only thing I'm looking forward to still with this dismal season. That, and maybe watching Lawrence continue to make strides if he can. Knocking WAS out of the playoffs would be a nice consolation prize, too, if we can get a shot at it.

Saturday night was the first time I've seen Moore play. He looked better than the young QBs we had the past 2 summers that were playing against bubble players during preseason. I thought he energized the team some and made some pretty good throws under the circumstances. He has a quick release and it was figured he would make some mistakes not having played in a regular season game before and having only taken a few starting snaps during the week.

He was going up against a pretty good team that's battling for a playoff spot and showed some promise. I certainly don't see him as the long-term answer to replacing Romo however I think he has a chance to be a solid backup but we need to see more of a sample size to really know what he is or isn't.

He looked physically small, but confident and accurate. His arm strength looked better than advertised and he did look like he was quickly reading his progressions and was decisive.

Unfortunately, he threw it to the wrong team twice (the third time was a desperation hail mary which really doesn't count), both times he disregarded the safety coverage, the first one not as bad and more excusable than the second one since 1) he was under pressure and got clobbered in the face on the first one which should have been a penalty and 2) the second one cost at least three points. Fortunately, this can be fixed.

He's a nice option as a #3 if we draft a young guy to be the two. Moore is smart and could help tutor the guy. Small guy who coaches love at QB tend to have coaching potential

That second INT he was really bad, that is a rookie mistake and he ain't a rookie.

I like his quick reads. He made some bad throws, but that happens. Sure beats an unbalanced hail mary to Revis. Aa far as long term. He may earn a spot for next season to back up or be the #3 depending on what happens with the draft.

I'm certainly no QB guru, but to my amateur eye it seemed like he had a lot of arc on his passes...as though he needed to loft it to get any distance. He didn't look like he had the arm to throw a pass with much zip on it.
On the upside, he seemed to have an air of confidence, especially for a QB playing in his first game. I don't know much about much, but that's what I came away with.

I'd rather Wash win the division than NY or Philly.

I liked his presence. The game wasn't to big for him. He showed some promise as others have noted. But he also made some critical mistakes. You can't go over the middle late in the NFL. Cost points on both mistakes. But Romo had a rough game when he came in and then went on a 5 or 6 game win streak. I will be interested to see what this kid can do with a full week of prep. To early to say if he has enough to be around next year.

Wait and see...usually need to have good offensive schemes for a QB with less than desirable arm strength. But he seems bright enough to make reads, we will see how future opponents adjust.

It reminded me of Cassel's first start (same stat line of 3 picks with a TD): the other guy stunk and didn't make enough happen, so I'm gonna throw around the rock like I'm Dan Fouts. Oh wait, I'm not Dan Fouts... and if I do that too much, guys in other colored jerseys will be running the wrong way with the ball. With a week of practice/brainwashing by the coaches, he'll be a proper dink and dunker like his two predecessors.

His future, if any, is likely as a solid backup QB. The problem for him is that we will likely draft a QB (or should) to replace Romo down the road and I don't think the team is keen on carrying 3 QB's next season. In fact, not many teams are keen on carrying 3 QB's on their roster anymore.

I was disappointed in his ability to look off and manipulate the safeties. I thought we would see, if anything, a guy that doesn't have the arm strength and athletic ability for the position. He doesn't have very good arm strength, but his pocket mobility wasn't bad.

I really root for him because not only is he a Cowboys, but he was one of my favorite college football players. I'm just skeptical of his chances in the league.

He looked better than Romo did with the same experience. :D
