OPINION: This just in...

I hope they kick the Patriots' butt, then we'll kick Indy's butt in the Super Bowl. :)

They don't appear to be intimidated at all by the Patriots.

The other thing is they appear to be the more physical team out there right now which is really suprising.

I'm impressed. Indy definitely solidifying their spot on top of the power rankings and making a push towards homefield advantage through the playoffs.

The key will be avoiding a second half letdown as the Pats are a great second half team.

The other good thing about this game is the deification of Tedy Bruschi seems to be put on hold this week.

Indy is scary good

no they arnt...

they are good, and they are doing what a good team should be doing against a mediocre to average team...New England is no better than average right now...too many injuries and the loss of two great coordinators will tend to do that

David

NE should not be losing by 21 at home to anybody

NE has been involved in 5 games against elitish teams thus far:

Chargers - loss
Steelers - win
Panthers - loss
Broncos - loss
Colts - ? loss

If you want to count the Falcons as elite (I wouldn't) then you could put them down for a win against Atlanta.

the chargers beat the bejesus out of them though

Don't kid yourself

Indy is the best football team this league has seen since the 1998 Broncos

I do believe they are a good team, but you also need to look at their schedule thus far:

@ Baltimore
Jacksonville
Cleveland
@ Tenn.
@ San Fran.
St. Louis
@ Houston
@ New England

Not too many good teams there......Also has ALOT to do with their "great" defense. Most of these teams rank in the bottom 20 as far as offenses go.

...Belicheck has just lost his mind. Short kicks and gives up an easy FG to let Indy go up by (3) scores. Then gambles on 4th and 4 and turns over the ball.

This all with 4-5 minutes left in the third quarter????

Nah, he just got used to having all the "breaks" go his way, as they have for the last 4 years.

Little Bill is nothing without his 2 coordinators...Just another coach.

Little Bill is nothing without his two coordinators? Is that why he has this team with a winning record despite missing basically half of his defense all year? Comeon now man.

Definately a sign of desperation in my opinion.

They won't have a winning record after tonight's shellacking.

Detorit is a dome, were gonna have a tough time with Indy @ Ford Field

Ware is gonna need to wreak havoc on Manning

I think Dallas's CBs would present an interesting matchup with Indy's passing game. Their hurry up offense could cause some problems, though.

I was at game - Manning and that offense is clicking at high gear. Indi was passing and running over Pats at will....Onsides was desperation because all 65000 fans saw it too, they were not stopping Manning......

Pats D not the same. Missing Johnson in the middle. Seymour out again. Harrison and Law gone.

At some point that catches up. BB had no answers on D - flat out manhandled. Fun watching both offenses. Boy they like 4 and 5 wide sets..... Pats run a lot of TWO TE's flanked with Watson/Graham

Indi is the real deal - JMO

I agree. Dallas seems to have problems with the no huddle offense and Manning doesn't allow you to substitute players in, which doesn't allow Dallas to rotate their players in.
