Opinions on Dak

Dak sucks. Romo sucked too. If only JG had a QB that didn't suck, he would have won multiple SBs by now. The Clapper label would have the same meaning as the Hoodie if Jerry could just find a QB for JG.

Jason is that you? O.O

I wouldn’t say that.

I think he’s evolved as a passer. I think the next step in his evolution is to cut down on the needless turnovers on his “heat checks.” The elite QBs in this league generally able to keep their INTs to single digits.
I agree but these picks haven’t been hear checks IMO.....I do remember some but a lot of them have been on him and the receiver not being on the same page.

He's an average QB.
With only a couple of games left, it's looking less and less like that's the case.

Youre saying that u under he cant lift the team to a win. IDK if you know but thats basically saying he's responsible

You didnt say this?

Big difference between saying he has a share of the responsibility and saying he is entirely responsible. I also made it a point to specifically emphasize that I was not saying he was entirely responsible.

My point once again was that he was not responsible for winning those playoff games when the opportunity was certainly there for him.

Taking advantage of those opportunities is what separates great from average.

Yea he does compile stats doesn't he.

How about beating winning teams? How about 5 drives with a total 6 yards vs bills. Swap Dak with the bottom 25 QB's and and we would win about the same number of games with slightly less stats.

He would have single digit ints if he didn't have a bunch of ints from hail marys and dropped balls that were picked off.

It was tough to watch but he improved vastly in just about every part of his game so the arrow is point up for him.

His interceptions are slightly up but hes been throwing more this year and making more difficult situational throws than in the past so in that respect hes done well. Conversely hes decreased his fumbles in half from last year. His comfort range should be 25 to 30 passes maximum for this offenses to be successful long term. Which translated is , we runnin the rock

He’s thrown at least two of them (one against the Dolphins come to mind) where he explained after the game that he “got greedy.”

He's done very well but I agree they need to be in the 25-30 pass range and pound the rock.

And he’d have more hadn’t he been bailed-out by defenders dropping gimme interceptions or penalties. Last week he threw an awful pass that was picked off by #31 of the Rams, but it got called back due to a hands to the face by one of the defensive linemen.

Dak is gonna be our QB no matter what happens so I’ve come to terms with it. I think his pocket presence and accuracy will always be average but he’s proven he can lead the team to wins when the offense is clicking around him.

Make your case.

If you like Dak i'll probably never convince you otherwise and only Dak can convince me he's worth 30+ million a year. Same reason as I don't want to pay Jones top money. Not paying good or average players great player money regardless of position.

Fine with Dak in general.

Not fine with committing 20+ percent of the cap to him.

He's not elite, and shouldn't be paid like he is.

Ryan Tannehill is a better quarterback, but he's not the "glue" in the locker room that Dak is.

Dak has significantly improved his accuracy this year. I think he's the guy. This team has a number of problems, but Dak isn't one of them.

and you dont think that happens to every QB?
