ORLANDO SCANDRICK @dallascowboys with significant right knee injury. Definite MCL, hope he gets lucky & ACL spared.

That's what I thought after watching the video. He was hit from the side, which caused a valgus stress (MCL) to the knee. It's definitely an MCL tear; hope the ACL and/or meniscus was spared.

What's bothersome and upsetting to me is also the impact from a TEAM standpoint. He was part of the success and chemistry of the team last year - never even minding his play. I think people underestimate the impact of TEAM.

He was/is also a leader not only on the defensive side of the ball but from a team perspective. Let's all try to avoid underestimating that. Will we be ok? Quote possibly if our defensive line plays all world. Pressure heals all wounds. It remains to be seen. Mad potential. . . . On paper.

Yes, key word. A "Team" pulls together when a member falls. Last year Lee was considered the heart and soul of the defense. He went down, he was missed, then what happened...12-4. Dark cloud be damned. I beleive it will make the team even stronger,

Ok, Lucky Whitehead is no longer allowed to practice.

man, that Corey White signing looks even better now. I hope he, Carr, Mo and Patmon step up.

We won't know that until the season starts. With Murray gone and the current RB situation it's up in the air where the team is until they start playing for real in Sept.

We are more talented. We could lose more games and that first sentence is still true.

Does it matter? MCL is a years loss anyways, isn't it?

I would be really upset if we didn't have Patmon. I believe he can step into the slot. On a bright side, the last time we won the Super Bowl we lost our top CB for the season. I also believe his girl is a curse.

Needless-to-say but this just sucks!
This is why you draft corners and safeties in every draft.
This is why you NEVER trade any away if you think your team has a surplus of corners.
