Idk man I believe in bad karma. The whole Scandrick/Draya thing and asking for a pay bump seemed like bad news just waiting to happen.

The performance of the team the last 2 games has been bad. David Moore was on the radio today and said he hasn't seen Garrett mad for this long since he became head coach. Garrett cancelled the annual "beach day" b/c he senses something wrong with the team. They are reading their press clippings and thinking everything will be fine once injuries clear up. Last year there was so much good mojo going around....the gifts from Demarco, the Landry Shift, the Seattle game....I'm not getting the same vibes this year. I'm sensing a '08/'09 type of season right now.

Oh stop it. You weren't getting any vibe of the team doing anything close to what they did last year at this point in training camp. Your posting history more than backs that up.

I realize that. But we kept him around.

About time he earns his paycheck or the man that signs his checks finally admits he made a colossal error in drafting him.

We kept him around because we figured he might make a good 4th CB and most of his contract was guaranteed

Something doesn't feel right about this upcoming year. Anybody else feel the same way?

100 percent agree. I made my thoughts be known in another thread. The optimism and enthusiasm I had from the end of "the catch" up until mid July has all but faded. It's starting to feel like last season was THE year and it was taken from us.

I can deal with losing a great slot corner. Sucks, but it could be a lot worse.

He's been kind of our best corner overall, worst guy to lose in the entire backfield, so I don't think it could be worse in that context.

Well, looks like Danny McCray will make this team now.

Tough loss - Scandrick brought a lot of attitude and swagger to the defense. Need someone else to step up.

We're a better team this year than we were last.

We won't know that until the season starts. With Murray gone and the current RB situation it's up in the air where the team is until they start playing for real in Sept.

Last year was a special season. That is why it hurt so much how it ended.

This is the first major adversity of a new year. I would hope we respond.

We will. On my honor.

Seriously, this setback with OScan is not how THIS team will be defined. I truly believe that. Forget the Super Bowl talk, this is a "one game at a time" team.

Not a corner like Ross or Steeples?

Sean Lee was a bigger loss last season. Heck, Demarcus Lawrence might've been a bigger loss considering the state of our defensive line last season.

Everyone said the same thing when Lee went down last year. Bad things happen however sometimes it leads to something good or better later on down the line. Oscan was a good player and I wish him well for next year. In the meantime it's time for other DB's to step up. We'll be ok.

Good thing we picked up Corey White, drafted Byron Jones and Mo Claiborne is in a contract year. Let's go. Next man up.

This will blow over in a week (or until a DB gives up a TD) lol. No matter how the media and haters try to build it up as a catastrophic loss for the Cowboys.
