Marijuana is not PED. I do agree with a 4 game suspension if its for PED. But marijuana does nothing to enhance game performance. Thus should not be more than a 1-2 game suspension. Thats just me. Richard Sherman appealed his case about a drug that kept him focused and that wasn't PED and his appeal was granted. The same principles should be applied towards a recreational drug like Marijuana. You may disagree with me here but its nothing more than just my opinion.

Nonetheless, Ray Rice got only a 2 game suspension for beating the crap out of his wife. So battering your wife is a lesser crime than smoking pot? Yes, the league does need to set their priorities straight here.

I don't know enough about steroids to make the case, but if this was an offseason thing, I doubt it really helped him much. Only thing he improved was his ability to catch INTs. That doesn't sound like something PEDs would improve.

A) Just because he got caught this offseason doesn't mean that is when started using them.

B) Increasing speed and strength would certainly put someone in a better position to catch more INTs.

To be clear, I don't know anything nor am I accusing him of anything. But he's undoubtedly a better CB than he was a few years ago, and smoke, fire, etc.

Because Denver had a pretty shoddy D too. It cost them the Superbowl.

SF and St Louis both are going to be good defenses again this year, and NO rebounded big time last year. The only thing that is going to stop NO's offense against us is being really tired in the 4th quarter from running up and down the field.

This isn't a "shoddy" D without 4 starters. Its what gets beat up by San Diego's 2nd stringers.
