so I tried this yesterday and messed up the link. But I really wanna hear what y'all gotta say.

Today on The Break around the 49 min mark. Bryan talked about how he knows for sure OS agent was talked to about a trade about 6 weeks ago. during the draft we all heard the rumors of Dallas trying to deal him somewhere. JJ came out and said those rumors were completely false, and he would personally talk to OS. On may 1 OS post a pic on twitter that says "Real eyes, Realize, Real lies"

Idk why in the world Dallas would try and trade him. His contract isn't crazy expensive and he's pretty much the only player in the secondary with vet experience in RM Defense.

Teams start that crazy stuff right in the middle of the draft to sow confusion with the teams drafting. If Dallas is trading Scandrick, they must be looking for a replacement. If CLE is trading for Cousins that must be why they're trying to move back into the first round. If you're a team with a pick in the 20s looking to move down, that sort of thing might pay off for you. And if there's a guy like Rapaport who's willing to report anything he hears at any moment, it's pretty easy to get a story going.

Scandrick was a shell of his former self last year. He looks and plays like a 30yr old player who
has been through 1 too many football wars. I, for one, will not be surprised if he does not make the
53 this year. He may take this as a challenge and get himself ready to play this year but, my warning
to him is get his shoulder chip ready for the wars of training camp this summer if he wants to get paid.

didnt he have a double hammy during the season? that will slow you down....OScan isnt slow.
He wasn't slow. He might be now.

Once you pull those hamstrings, they're usually never the same. See Miles Austin.

Especially since he married the wrong woman for future financial security.

Gotta say I really don't agree, he had hammy issues last year, but I think he still has 2-3 years in the tank. He is exactly the type of player Dallas is hoping Awuzie Lewis and woods turn into (smart, swifty, physical hitter, with an attitude). why dump him, with all of these guys being unproven rookies? Chances are 1-2 of them are busts, why set yourself up.

Love that the front office is all about what have you done for me lately!

OP you need to remember we can't pay a guy and have him on the team cause he was a great(we'll be was decent) corner 3/4 years ago! He looked awful last year and the year before that he was hurt all season

Coming off an ACL/MCL tear and trying to get into football shape you're gonna have issues with your hammy. Especially at his age. He'll be much better this year...we need him

This is how I feel about it. At the moment, the only real veteran presence we have besides him is Sean Lee. After that, it's pretty close to 25 and under, minus a few spare defensive lineman. And since the DB's meet separate from the DL and linebackers, Scandrick will be the only veteran in the meeting room, often times. Coaches need that presence to demonstrate how professional approach the game. I'm not necessarily sure if Scandrick fit's that description, but I do not recall any reports that would indicate he does not.
