Any sane org is doing just that. If Dak refuses to waive his NTC, cut him. Why would you waste another year running with him when you know the outcome. Find a way to trade Parsons and Lamb because those are guys we can't afford to pay at a time when there is no clear QB to lead the team. What this team needs is high draft picks and a front office with the imagination to draft and a coaching staff that can use and develop talent.

In other words, tear it down and rebuild.........two steps back to take one step forward. I guess he's saying fire MM, Quinn and eat Dak's contract.......( cap hits )

Orlovsky is the wrong journeyman clipboard carrier to listen to right now.

quick, AC, find a video from Chase Daniel telling us this wasn't Dak's fault.

That's who we want to tune in to.

This is exactly what I said in another thread.

This team has a core problem that goes beyond one or two players, coaches or even the owner.

This whole organization needs to be rebuilt with a new mindset and philosophy because the ones they have had for decades have not worked no matter how many individual pieces have been changed.

It's the only way. Get rid of the HC, the DC, and the QB. They all failed miserably when they were needed most. We have some excellent young players to give us a head start in the rebuild.

Start with the GM. That's the one call that Jerry needs to make, continue to be the owner and hire a GM.

I'm with it... except, keep Lamb.

He's pretty QB friendly for your next guy.

But yeah you have to get rid of Dak-- or else he is good enough to ruin your draft position. Slows down the rebuild

To quote Shoresy, "it's not that they don't love to win, it's that they don't hate to lose." They are a mentally weak team. The minute things are going poorly, instead of getting focused and pumping each other up, they start looking around with big eyes, the body language changes to a sulk and the sideline turns into a funeral. They lack leaders of men. Period.

Actually it shouldn't be that hard to trade him.

A competent GM would go to him and basically say, "Dak, unfortunately, I think we are going to strip this thing down. I know you want to win a SB and honestly, we could have a few bleak years here. We'd be open to letting your agent contact some teams and work out potential trades that would suit you and give you a better chance of making a SB in the next few years............."

There's enough desperate teams and Dak gets enough coddling from the national media that we could get a decent return on trading him

This^^^^^^ Parcell, Garrett, and now MM. What's interesting is we simply haven't gotten it done since the start of free agency following Jimmy's run.

This is the same guy who gives all praise to someone who turns the ball over more than 3 other teams combined. Nah.

The Cowboys would be better served with a complete rebuild from top to bottom. But it won’t happen.

One of the reasons the 90s teams happened was because of the complete overhaul of the talent base the team had between 1989 and 91. They had to get bad to get better. It won’t happen here now because the 81 year old GM won’t allow it. But that’s what needs to happen at this point.
