Quite the counterintuitive concept to voluntarily tear down & rebuild a team that's gone 12-5 for three consecutive seasons, isn't it?

The problem with this team is not failing to win games (a lot of games); it's failing to win playoff games. So, what is it about the latter that turns the Dallas Cowboys - to a man - into a pile of trembling mush, forgetting everything they've done so well all season long?

I saw the same thing yesterday in the eyes of Dak, Cee Dee and Micah that we saw the past couple of years pregame against the Niners. Fear.

I would hold him to the fire on that no trade clause. Ok, you dont want to waive it. Then sit on the bench and watch someone else play or get traded to a team who will play you.
Dak is one of the best quarterbacks in the league. You are not benching him like he is Russ.

Actually it shouldn't be that hard to trade him.

A competent GM would go to him and basically say, "Dak, unfortunately, I think we are going to strip this thing down. I know you want to win a SB and honestly, we could have a few bleak years here. We'd be open to letting your agent contact some teams and work out potential trades that would suit you and give you a better chance of making a SB in the next few years............."
What team out there would actually make that trade?
