You can write a novel trying to justify it, but the fact remains you’re almost always negative about everything Cowboys. You don’t like building up players, but you have no problem trying to tear them down. Even the top players in the league like Dak. In this thread, you could’ve went with the positives with OSA or the negatives. You again, chose to focus on the negatives. Just about every one of your posts.
Interesting take from the local denouncer.

The market for DT has quietly risen pretty high these last few seasons.

Leonard Williams, a 30 year old guy who's really good but not quite a star, got $21M/yr on his contract. DJ Reader and Grover Stewart, two pretty good starting run cloggers, got $13M/yr. Raekwon Davis and A'Shawn Robinson, just kind of rotational-caliber run stuffers, got $7M/yr.

Let's say that Osa goes out and has another season like his last 2... lots of pressure, not a lot of sacks, and he stays healthy. If I'm his agent in 2025, I'm targeting a contract closer to Williams than Grover Stewart. My client is 26 years old, has no significant injury history, has 3 productive pass rushing seasons, and fits into a gap-shooter role on any defense. He comes with very low risk and gives you an instant inside-rush presence. I'm probably asking for 4 years in the $18M a year zone.
I was hoping we might could get Williams for a decent rate because his numbers have declined, but he got more than I figured. So will Osa. Given his age, I think you are right or maybe even slightly low given inflation. I'm also hopeful with our players that they'll become more than what they currently are. They can improve and Osa was better last year than he was the year before.

I am not disagreeing or agreeing, but just out of curiosity, when was the last time Dallas resigned a DT they drafted in any round? It might be right in front of me but I can't recall.
Crawford?

Yes his play last season was noticeably better.

However, incoming 3, 2, 1 .....
Dallas’ defense will line up against 15 of the Top 32 tackles and will play against five teams who have two tackles ranked inside the list. The Eagles, Atlanta Falcons, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers all have their bookend tackles ranked inside the Top 32. In total, the Cowboys will play 10 games against some of the top tackles in the league. San Francisco 49ers’ LT Trent Williams topped the list, and Dallas will line up against him in Week 8.

If the Cowboys had a good DT next to him we would probably see more production.

Regardless I think he's an under appreciated solid starting DT that hopefully can break out and be more than a Maliek Collins type player.
ironically maliek is what makes me overlook osa. i had such high hopes for him, and got burned that i've largely ignored what osa brings.
