Well this is awesomely good news. I saw a "Breaking News: Obama to address nation" banner on one of the news sites last night just before settling in to watch a movie then go to bed...missed the whole thing until this morning driving to work and hearing about it on (where else?) 1310 the Ticket.

Strange goings-on though. I'm a conspiracy theorist at heart...I guess I have to wait for Jesse Ventura's take on this one...

Would be nice if the court system could get a dna test done in less than a day. I'm thinking this wasn't an actual dna test we're used to hearing about. there's no way

I saw a snippet on the news that stated samples were collected for DNA testing, but it did not say the results were back already. They could have tested blood type and matched that to Bin Laden. Or tests that looked for indicators of the type of kidney problems that Bin Laden had to use as a match. The media is in a rush to report something first, but that doesn't mean they are reporting things that actually occurred. It may take some time before what truly transpired yesterday is revealed.

We'll never know, but knowing what I know from friends that are Special Forces, I can guarantee you that the "firefight" that the news keeps talking about wasn't much of a fight.

Agree. We will never know. And after the Pat Tillman and Jessica Lynch stories our govt put out there, I can't say I'd believe any story they put out there.
